Hands down the best Steak in Downtown Jacksonville, Florida. I have been here many of times and the steaks are always on point. They can even cook you steak Pittsburg. If you want a Steak "Well Done", do not come here. You will disgrace the cow that gave its life for you. Service is always on point as they are the Ritz-Carlton of Steakhouses. A prime example is Jennifer Adams. She should be a national trainer in the service industry for wait staff. Another great thing about Morton's, is that you can preorder your cut of meat before your reservation. Make sure you give them enough time to get it in.

Place was really good. Everything was cooked to perfection. Starting with the shrimp app. I then had a bone in ribeye and my wife had a petit filet. My ribeye was excellent great taste and perfect temp. For the sides we had the lobster mac n cheese and some pitato casserole. The mac n cheese was fine but mothing out of this world but i liked the potatoes better. Finally for the dessert we had the lava cake with ice cream. It was good but the cake had muted flavor. It was chocolate but the intensity of the flavor was not there. Like a watered down chocolate flavor ( not actually waered). Then there was the bill. I bit more than i expected at 288 before tip but everything was very good.

I had a very disappointing experience at Morton’s The Steakhouse. Service was extremely slow despite the restaurant being nearly empty on a Sunday night. It took about 30 minutes just to receive a bowl of bisque, followed by another 20 minutes before the steak arrived — completely unreasonable pacing for a place that markets itself as a premium dining experience. Sitting at the bar made things even worse. There was virtually zero interaction from the staff. No one asked how the food was, no water refills were offered, bread was never brought out, and used dishes just sat there without being cleared. To make matters worse, the two bar attendants seemed far more interested in discussing what they were getting for their own dinner than paying attention to guests. I was completely ignored. As for the food, it didn’t justify the wait or the price. Everything was mediocre at best — far from what you’d expect from a high-end steakhouse. Overall, poor service, lack of attention, and underwhelming food made this a frustrating experience. I wouldn’t return, especially with so many better options available.

We had a group of 28 that had been booked months in advance for a birthday party. I have done my fair share of fine dinning but I will say for 2 of us the bill was $350 and there was nothing good about it. It took 3 hours and that did not include getting deserts by the time we got to deserts everyone was so frustrated and done with this place. So one table ask for Management because there server had a horrible attitude and unfortunatly the Manager Gabriel Santane came to the table and from his attitude he must have trained that server because all he done was take the gratuity off and made it optional for that table but the gratuity for the group was split between the servers so all he punished the other servers who where trying but had very little to work with when you have unprepaired kitchen and bar. After returning back to the table with receipts he tried to scurry off without talking to anyone but I did catch up with him to discuss the groups horrible meal. He basically refused to go back and ask each table how there meal was after I told him there was not a person there satisfied with there dinner. His attitude was horrible and very very unprofessional. And as one of the very few white people in the group I was so embarressed because I do beleive that the white management considered that when dealing with the group. All I can say lets hope corporate is more responsive to the problem then Gabriel was to the many issues. As to the issues service was horribly slow, food was cold, over cooked, under cooked, lacked flavor, many orders wrong, many items missed and this was planned for over a month in advance or it appeared never planned as the manager told me that they cant get everything right with a group of that size then my suggestion would be to not accept groups of that size. The restaurant was not packed either making me beleive even more that they did not staff for the event. So thanks to Mortons the birthday party was a total disaster.

The food was delicious but the svc was subpar. Within about 15 mins total, I asked for a straw & the waiter never brought one. I asked the waitress but still no straw. I asked 2nd waitress & she handed me a straw wrapped in a napkin. Minutes later, the 1st waitress brought me a straw with it rolling back n forth on her dirty serving tray that also had a couple of drinks/dirty glasses on it. She handed it to me so I put it down on the table and said I only accept straws that are incased in plastic or paper. Otherwise, those straws are dirty. And unfortunately, some of the most expensive restaurants provide germy/dirty straws. I served in fine dining restaurants and trained servers over 40 yrs ago and I personally feel that these servers could truly benefit with some additional training. While leaving, the waiter failed to say good bye or thank you for dining with us or anything and I don't recall if the waitresses said anything. When you have guests, you should wear a smile and treat them with the upmost respect. It doesn't matter how much they're spending. because once they're on your primises, you should treat them like gold/ royalty. You are not the only fine dining restaurant in town and you are representing Morton's. Reviews, whether online or by word of mouth can at times make you or break you. I will review my next visit and if it's great, I'll say so and if it's not, I'll say so again.
