Hovan is one of those lunch places you start to miss when you leave to another town. Amazing falafel and baba ganoush. Besides the food, nothing beats the free show of people attempting to navigate the traffic circle.

Hovan is an instant yes whenever someone in the office mentions it - I absolutely adore them. The food is always delicious and delightful, and while so filling I want a nap afterward, that’s a bonus! My particular favorite fact is that you can get the gyro with tahini instead of tzatziki - I’m sadly no longer able to eat tzatziki, and I thought that meant no more gyros, but the tahini is an inspired and amazing replacement. Also, their pita is spectacular. We always order extra 💚

The food is pretty good, but everytime I go there for carry out, (2 or 3 times) they ALWAYS forget or miss something that I asked. Even after I repeated myself 3times, the Caucasian girl, interrupted me and said kindly "I got your order", politely. Especially the "baklava"(spelling, dessert). I called the restaurant and surprisingly she answered the phone, and when I told her that she forgot it, She said to me "u supposed to order that at the cash register", now how am I supposed to know that? She asked me what do I want and I told her, it didn't say to order it at the cash register. Samething as the extra Taziki sauce (which they don't do) or when I asked for some extra sauce on the side for a dollar for extra. Just something I wanted. Guess u can't get everything, great folks, very friendly, nice atmosphere otherwise.
