They’ve also reduced the amount of fries you get with your order. We went here because McDonald’s was crazy busy and we do really like the food. I had already ordered my McDonald’s online and ordered 2 sandwich meals, two pies, a shake and ice cream-$39. We cancelled the order when there was like 12 cars ahead of us and went to 5 Guys only to almost double our bill for way less food! 2 days ago I spent less on two sushi meals. We like the food at 5 Guys and their service is usually good (although this order was messed up) but I just can’t see spending this kind of money on this kind of food when I can spend less at a steakhouse, sushi bar, pizza or almost anywhere else - especially for burgers!

The burger patties were roughly the size of standard McDonald's ones, and the fries that were always flooding over were not even enough to fill the paper pouch. Spending $30 (because I usually give in and tip on the kiosks.) on a fast food meal, and leaving not full is garbage. While there I heard two or three other people complain to the mgr about the new portions to hear that person say they "Reduced them back to what corporate guidelines said they are supposed to be." Will not be back to this location. If I get the same at the other one Ive went to multiple times in town I will not return to the chain.
