  Ordered on the app, went through the drive through. The guy at the window was very friendly. Got honey chipotle chicken soft tacos. Everything was portioned well, my only complaint was the rice! It wasn’t cooked all the way, there were so many hard pieces I couldn’t eat it. I’m sure they were rushing due to demand but they need to make sure they aren’t serving hard rice. If I didn’t have to work I would’ve went back.

  My order was designated for drive-thru pickup. I was genuinely excited for this restaurant to open on this side of town, but after this experience, I regret that excitement and honestly wish a different business had taken this location. I understand this is a newly opened restaurant, but it is difficult to understand how no one recognized that the layout of the property would create significant operational issues. The sidewalk area is excessively large, making the drive-thru effectively a single-lane entry. As a result, vehicles waiting in line block customers who are parked from leaving and also prevent access to the exit behind the building. My order was scheduled for 6:00 PM, yet I waited approximately 30 minutes in the drive-thru line because there was no practical option to park. The lot has very limited parking, and customers who choose to go inside risk being blocked in by drive-thru traffic. After an extended wait with little movement, I ultimately had to use the exit behind the building, find a place to park, and go inside. Upon entering, the restaurant was dirty and poorly maintained. Several customers were waiting for pickup orders without any acknowledgment or assistance. I had to get an employee’s attention to receive help, and multiple customers ahead of me were dealing with incorrect orders. The manager appeared overwhelmed and was loudly stating that food was “just piling up and sitting there” and that “the food keeps piling up and not moving.” This was concerning given that the drive-thru was at a complete standstill and customers inside were not being helped efficiently. The food itself was disappointing. My large queso was only about half full. Between the excessive wait, poor customer service, dirty restaurant conditions, incorrect orders being handed out, and poor food quality, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had. For a location that has only recently opened, there are clearly significant operational and management issues that need immediate attention.

  I went there at 9:30 PM on Monday, June 22 2026. The manager or the shift leader that was there went above and beyond to assist me ,when it wasn’t even her problem to solve, this is how you get yourself a loyal customer. She saw a problem and she solved it even when she easily could’ve turned me away. I cannot say enough, good things about how she handled The situation, she was awesome(younger black girl with Pigtail braids). The guy that was making the bowls was also really great ( younger white guy) I didn’t get anybody’s names so I apologize. And honestly, everybody working there tonight was very friendly and helpful but these were the two I interacted with the most. Thank you for a great experience.

  First time here was SO GOOD I had high hopes and Shawna was very welcoming! I got fresh steak right off the grill when they were out of honey chicken and it was perfect. My second time here I had the most terrible burrito, due to the rice being way undercooked it was hard and hurt to bite. The tortilla was stale like chewing a leather couch. But the flavor was good. When Fleming location opened years ago they also had crunchy rice, but if they can fix it so can Normandy. I hope they take this seriously instead of “tough shiz we cook it by the recipe “

  I was eager for this location to open! I am hopeful that they will improve quickly. I attempted to place a mobile order online last week and the restaurant was closed during posted business hours. Today, I placed a mobile order. When I arrived home, the chipotle chicken was cold (not cool) and the rice was grossly undercooked! I chose to remove the rice and microwave the chicken-both which defeat the purpose of takeout. Please make the necessary adjustments to this business and be an asset to this community instead of a regret. One positive is that the pickup lane Was quick.
