I keep seeing them passing my car with bags of food, taking them to 8- 10 cars behind me. No one ever stopped and asked us what our order was. I finally stopped one of the runners and asked about my food. Then I asked for a manager, when he did not come back. The manager stated that my food was taking longer because of my larger order. Then a worker walked past us with 2 large bags of food in his hand and took it to the car behind me. When I made it to the widow, the same manager said that they could not found my order. At that point after 45 minutes, I asked for my refund. I paid $43.91 and they only returned $38.09 to my card. This is the worst service and experience I have ever had with Chic- fil a.

When I was told that wasn’t an option, I simply replied that I could have sworn Chick-fil-A used to offer that. Leandra responded by saying, “Yeah, no, we never had that,” in a tone that felt dismissive and ended the conversation. I later confirmed that Chick-fil-A did previously offer that option and has since discontinued it. The policy itself wasn’t my concern—I completely understand that menu offerings and procedures change over time. What disappointed me wasn’t that the option was no longer available. It was feeling dismissed instead of receiving a simple explanation that the offering had changed or that it may not have been something she was aware Chick-fil-A had previously offered. A brief explanation would have gone a long way in making the interaction feel more welcoming. I also recognize that working outside in the Florida heat can be demanding, and everyone has difficult days. That’s why I don’t want this experience to define the team or the restaurant. I do want to specifically recognize Aiden for turning the experience around. He approached me with professionalism, answered my questions without making me feel uncomfortable, acknowledged that the change could understandably be confusing, and made sure I had everything I needed before I left. His empathy, attentiveness, and commitment to hospitality reflected the level of service I’ve come to expect from Chick-fil-A. As someone who previously served as a Hospitality Manager with Chick-fil-A, I know the company’s culture is built on making every guest feel genuinely cared for. Aiden exemplified that culture, and I hope he receives the recognition he deserves. While this interaction with Leandra was disappointing, I remain confident this location is capable of delivering the exceptional hospitality that has always made it one of my preferred Chick-fil-A restaurants.
