  In this review I am primarily going to talk about the quality of the pizza compared to regular Pizza Hut stores and the quality of Pizza Hut in the 80s/90s. I ate at a regular dine in Pizza Hut in the last month, to keep that recent experience on my mind, until I was able to try Pizza Hut Classic. The Pizza Hut I ate at elsewhere was just about the same as other recent Pizza Hut experiences. Terrible, bottom of the barrel quality Pizza and with higher prices. Their quality has slipped dramatically over the last 30 years: pan crust that is neither crunchy on the outside, doughy on the inside, or with a buttery flavor. And the crust tastes like grease instead. Sauce that is badly watered down, cheap quality cheese and toppings that have no real flavor. Now to get the negativity of any Pizza Hut experience I have had in recent memory off my chest, I move onto this new Pizza Hut Classic concept, a redesigned retrofitted Pizza Hut with the old style decor and salad bar, and a throwback menu. Onto Pizza Hut Classic quality of pizza: I came into this pretty skeptical because Yum! Brands has always been terrible, and although they recently sold off the company, they are directly responsible for destroying the brand. I know to which extent that is because I worked at a Pizza Hut in 2006/2007. To stick with something very familiar, I ordered a large pan style half/half speciality pizza. First bite: wow, this is pretty good. The crust is pretty much how I remembered in back in the 90s - crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and with a buttery taste. The sauce tasted rich and a little sweet, and didnt wind up making the pizza messy. I could hold up a hot pizza slice in my hand and it stayed together really well. The cheese has that Classic Pizza Hut fresh mozzarella taste, stringy and good, and milky in flavor. I tried each topping individually. The beef topping actually tasted like beef. You could see little fennel seeds in the Italian sausage, and overall I had no problem with the toppings. So how does Pizza Hut Classic compare with regular Pizza Hut? At least with the pan crust it's not even the same pizza.. How does it compare with Pizza Hut from 30 years ago? It's much closer to the way I remember it but I couldn't say it's exactly alike. I would definitely make the hour plus drive out here again someday.

  The atmosphere was great! Clean and service was fast and on top of it! The food was hot and delicious! Couldn’t be more pleased with how everything held up to my childhood memories!

  We wanted the nostalgic feel of a classic Pizza Hut so we drove to try out the only official classic Hut in the state of Florida. It did not disappoint from the red cups to the salad bar to the red checked table cloths and stained glass chandeliers. Just like growing up in the 80s. Our server was great and handled herself brilliantly despite the restaurant clearly being understaffed when we went at lunch time on a Sunday. Mgmt needs to staff up.

  A Pizza Hut that was filthy dirty and disgusting. Before food was even served, we were given plates with food crumbs on them. A dirty dish rag was laying on a nearby table. A carpet sweeper was in a high traffic area where anybody could have tripped over it. The booths and the plastic red checkered table cloths were sticky. I can only imagine how awful the kitchen and the restrooms looked. Probably cockroaches or mice undoubtedly. Food was subpar. The only reason why I begrudgingly ate here was because my mother, who has really bad taste in selecting places to eat pizza, wanted to come here. It was a terrible mistake.
