  Come here and see Robert, Evy and, Lucilla!! Awesome service and very interesting people. The star of the show is the food, amazing, fresh. Everybody here was friendly, the food was hot, and the drinks were ice cold! My new favorite place on the broadwalk!

  I’ve always loved this place. It holds some of my fondest childhood memories of Hollywood Beach, which makes this experience especially disappointing. The service was poor, but what really bothered me was the way the gratuity was handled. An 18% gratuity was already included in our bill, yet we were still handed a payment machine that immediately prompted us to leave an additional tip. I paid the included 18% and then added another 25% before realizing we had essentially tipped twice. What feels especially shady is that this wasn’t clearly explained to us when we were handed the payment machine. When I brought it up, the response was essentially, “It’s in the menu.” That’s not good enough. Most people aren’t going to stop and read the fine print of a menu while paying their bill, especially when the payment screen is actively prompting them to add another tip. I can’t help but wonder how many customers are unknowingly doing the same thing. If an 18% gratuity is already included, that should be made VERY clear before asking customers for another tip. Really disappointing to see a place I’ve loved for so long handle things this way.
