I was very excited to try the sandwiches at the shop, and matcha, because I saw amazing reviews on social media from my favorite food influencers. When we arrived, we immediately noticed how hot it was, and when I asked the staff about it, they told me the A/C wasn’t working. We asked if maybe we could put a table outside because they have small tables, and they said no. And I asked to speak to the owner who they had called, and he was extremely rude. He was watching us on the cameras, very creepy, and the first words out of his mouth were please get out of the kitchen. I was standing next to the register to the side, not in the kitchen. He claimed the City gave him a warning about having tables outside. But apparently the A/C hasn’t worked for multiple days, and he’s I guess he’s either not concerned about it or unwilling to rent fans or come up with some kind of solution. No discount was offered. No apology was made. And I was with my son and some friends who have two smaller children, and the owner was watching us on the camera the whole time. And the staff made a comment about how we had to be careful because the kids were gonna break something which they did not. But the most disappointing part was a sandwich is really art that great the different ones I tried were all kind of salty. None of them had like a sweet balsamic, or maybe a fig jam to counter balance the salty meats and cheeses. And two sandwiches with chips and two matchas with a small tip was almost $70. I won’t be going back.
UPDATE: The owner clearly doesn't understand hospitality or customer service.
1) I'm not entitled. Unless wanting to be treated well and have functioning a/c is too much to ask. There was no one else there because it was unbearably hot!
2) I wasn't asking for a daycare. I was asking to not be judged for having children with me who were behaved as it were.
3) Yes, I'm a small business owner. The difference is most of my clients stick with me because I treat them well.
4) The staff was probably suffering from heat stroke! And by the way, they suggested moving a table outside initially.

Had seen some reviews and figured I would give it a try, glad that I did. The atmosphere is inviting and the food was excellent. High quality ingredients, thoughtfully put together equals delicious. Mortadella and burrata was great, and the tuna sandwich was easily the best tuna sandwich I've ever had. This isn't your run of the mill tuna and Mayo. This is imported Italian tuna, with sundried tomatoes, calabrian chillies, lemon, arugula and some stuff I am sure I am forgetting. Put it all together and you get a combination that works so well you wonder why everyone hasn't done it. I really hope this place lasts for a long long time.
Upon entering I was immediately greeted with warmth and a friendly conversation.
Erik, owner and operator, guided me through the menu and gave me a short and pleasant chat.
The ciabatta enveloped in deli paper was warm, lightly toasted, yet soft.
Inside was cold, refreshing, and flavorful on this hot day.
Finished off my visit with another chat, a handshake, and their Italian iced coffee which thankfully was NOT overly sweet.

ordered their “I’m Golden” on the focaccia bread.
The sandwich was the size of Starbucks sandwiches (which are pretty small). The bread was dry and was stale.
They did stuff the sandwich pretty good with arugula and the cotto ham but it really lacked the truffle cream and stracciatella. I spent $29 on that one sandwich which was pretty small, dry and lacked flavor.
For such price I would much rather go to Jholanos Deli or Chèvre Miami.
If you are walking along this area or visiting the art park, or if you’re looking for a great little sandwich spot, La Sosta is a GREAT spot to visit!
The service was incredible, and when placing our order, we were given lots of great recommendations and information!
I ended up ordering the Il Vegetariano Freddo and my boyfriend the Il Classico Toscano. Would 100% order again.
To drink I had the Melon e Menta which, on a hot day like the day we went, was incredibly refreshing!
The highlight was finding that they had Paprika potato chips, which I have only enjoyed once on a trip to Croatia. The chips was delicious paired with our meal, and brought back great memories! Plus, if you haven’t had these chips before HIGHLY recommend.
