  I have been coming here for a few years. Always enjoyed my food, service, and the greeting when you walk in. Not this last time. No greetings just a person standing at the computer. Waited 15+ minutes after being seated for a waitstaff to come to the table. She came, apologizes for the wait, took our drink order (water and a bottleof beer) and we waited another 15+ minutes for that order. Waitstaff indicated the bar was very busy. Then dinner ordering. The wait for our food average. Finally the dishes arrive. Only problem....one dish was completely different than what was ordered. Another came without the creamy mushroom sauce. So now we have two meals ready to eat. The mushroom sauce took another 10 minutes to arrive. The other person is waiting (20+ minutes) for the correct meal. What a mess. I asked for the manager. He/she never came to the table. I'm wondering if there is a manager. Waitstaff returns, indicated that the management is offering us a choice of desert free. That's not what I came for. $140 dollars for the worst night. Thanks for nothing. Will NOT recommend this place to any more people. For those that love this place good for you.

  The food is excellent. The service is great. We felt the AC was a bit high in the room we were in. The prices are a bit on the high side compared to other German restaurants I have gone to. Finally, if you save enough room for desert definitely get the Apple Strudel and Ice Cream. It takes 12-15 minutes to make, but it is excellent.

  Walked into a very charming environment. Cracked the menu and was really looking forward to the food. Got veal snitzel, $46 came with German potato salad and red cabbage both were very good. The veal was not tender and was just OK. Good size, however I would go with pork in the future. Bavarian Goulash was very good!! $24 well worth it. Sadly, Server Deb barely spoke to us. We had to ask busser for silverware to eat with. No extra lemon as requested when ordering. I had to litterally speak loudly as she did a fly by without any attempt to actually stop to see how our food was to get a second lemon. Needed a small box for leftovers as the veal was large! She threw the box on top of my plate 😥 This place is definitely worth a try. The bussers and runners work hard here and it is a charming place.
