- EEEsteban EspinosaJul 28, 20261.0On July 16, I visited a Chipotle location to purchase a bowl and was served by the employee shown in the photo. He served portions that were clearly below Chipotle’s standard serving guidelines. When I politely asked him to provide the correct portions, he refused and responded with a rude and dismissive attitude. I explained that I had previously worked at Chipotle and was familiar with the company’s portion standards, but he still refused to correct the portions. This complaint is not about receiving extra food—it’s about an employee refusing to follow Chipotle’s serving standards and treating a customer disrespectfully. Chipotle CEO Scott Boatwright has publicly stated that employees may serve the correct portions and even a little extra when appropriate. Instead, this employee chose to ignore those standards and handle the situation unprofessionally. I ask that this incident be reviewed and addressed, as this type of behavior does not reflect the level of customer service Chipotle should provide, also encourage management to pay close attention to how the employee shown in the photo interacts with customers.

She had a great attitude, worked quickly, and really made the whole visit enjoyable. You can tell she genuinely cares about good customer service. The restaurant was also really clean and well kept, which made eating there even better. The food was fresh, tasty, and everything was made perfectly. Overall, this was one of the best Chipotle visits I’ve had, and Claudia’s awesome service really stood out. I’ll definitely be going back!
