    I visited Jimmy John’s on September 23, 2026, during my lunch break, and unfortunately, the experience was very concerning. When I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by an employee who told me, “Howdy, I’ll be with you shortly.” While waiting to place my order, I overheard a conversation between General manger & one his employees involving heroin and other drugs. One employee (later to find out general manger ) was discussing wanting to try heroin and making statements about the origins of heroin and aspirin, followed by a conversation about various drugs he had tried or wanted to try. As a customer, I found this conversation extremely inappropriate and unsettling for a public restaurant environment. I also witnessed what appeared to be a manager or general manager involved in a heated confrontation with an employee. The manager was yelling and screaming at the employee and ultimately told the employee to leave. The situation escalated to the point where the manager threatened to call the police. Regardless of the circumstances behind the disagreement, the manner in which it was handled appeared highly unprofessional and created an uncomfortable atmosphere for customers who were present. My concerns are not about employees having personal conversations, but rather about the nature of the conversations taking place in front of customers and the way a workplace conflict was handled publicly. Customers should be able to visit a restaurant without being exposed to conversations about illegal drugs or witnessing employees being aggressively confronted by management. I hope Jimmy John’s management takes these concerns seriously and reviews what occurred at this location. I believe employees and customers deserve a professional, respectful, and comfortable environment.

    Ordered online here today; at other local JJ locations with a drive thru the whole encounter has never lasted longer than 60 seconds. I arrived about 5 mins after placing my order, and while it was not particularly busy the manager had not adequately staffed the place. I proceeded to wait 20 more minutes while approximately 6 sandwiches were made ahead of mine. They knew I was there (had alerted them of my order) but they prioritized the orders of walk-ins who were behind me in line! I do not totally fault the workers, one was a trainee and the other was doing the best they could. However, they were not moving particularly fast and my turkey tom was missing the “tom” in the end. Manager, you need to figure out your staffing and the prioritization of orders. I don’t go to Jimmy John’s to wait longer than I would at a table service restaurant.
