  What an absolutely filthy rundown spot full of poor attitude. Staff looks like they're being forced to serve you unwillingly and move at a snail's pace. AC is weak. Food prep counters are dirty. And big black flies all around on the ingredients!! Absolutely wild. Not sure if any training took place with staff. And the white rice was mushy, soggy, clumped up, and tasteless--worst nastiest rice I've had. What a laughable experience. Imagine food workers swinging on flies in front of customers while serving up the food. Hilarious, in a sad third-world kind of way.

  Quick, healthy food, especially in a college town, is very popular. Fortunately for Chipotle, It has that reputation. Sadly, the Chipotle at 13th St. and 23rd Ave. in Gainesville Is sorely lacking in attentiveness, availability of menu items and, most importantly, a welcoming environment. Their menu offers food choices that I eat regularly. At this particular location many items are often "out of stock." Many are often only available by scraping the bottom of the warming container. There is no alternative to, "We're out of that item." Yesterday, March 12, 2026, I stood as the next person in line for about eight minutes before someone came to start my order. There was no acknowledgment by about five employees very close to the other side of the counter that I even existed. When an employee finally approached the food counter to take my order there was no apology for the delay. In fact, the delay got longer when the employee realized the box of serving gloves was empty. When placing my order, I was told that they were out of pinto beans & cooked veggies. I have been there when it was packed with similar scenarios as I experienced yesterday. The fast food restaurant concept offered by the company Chipotle hasn't been widely adopted. It stands alone among the healthiest of dining options. I'm not sure if the corporate or district level management sees this location as a beta for the "free range chicken approach" for employees. Fix it up, do it right or close it up.

  This location needs to be wiped clean from the managers on down to the employees. The employees seem very young and have no training on customer service. They show no interest or concern in the quality of service. They are rude, they have attitudes they never smile they are not welcoming. The manager Sarah needs to be terminated. She should not have any contact with the public. Her behavior as a manager is unacceptable. She should not represent Chipotle in ANY Capacity. She has no leadership skills whatsoever. Her attitude is horrible. The store is always dirty and filthy. Im sure they have many health code violations.

  Everytime I come to this Chipotle they are always late opening their doors. The time online and the time posted on the door says they open at 10:45, but they are always 10 mins or later opening the door. Even when you finally get to come inside, you still have to wait for them to finish getting things setup and they don’t always have all of the food items ready. Today they didn’t open until 11 and then still didn’t even have the veggies ready. I don’t know if this is a short staffing issue or what… but if it is, then maybe they need to come in earlier to be ready to open on time. This is like an everyday thing.

  My experience with the food has been hit or miss at this location. But I’m finally going to resign myself to never going here again after the way I was treated by the staff today. I walked in, there was no line but staff looked busy so I waited patiently. When a girl walked up it looked like she was going to take my order so I smiled and said hello, she snapped back at me and said “give me a minute” then a man skipped me in line and she started making his food. I’m assuming they knew each other because she didn’t have to ask what he wanted and she grabbed his food fresh off the grill. While she was taking care of him, another girl came to help me. When I asked for the fajita veggies, she said “we don’t have any” but I had just watched the man being served before me get two portions off the grill so I said “I actually just saw the person before me get served the ones on the grill. Can I have some of those please?” and she rolled her eyes and looked at the guy on the grill making the veggies who also rolled his eyes at me. Within 2min they were panned and he was bringing them over to her. As he was switching out the pans he said “you know it’ll feel longer if you watch me do it right?” I just laughed because where else am I supposed to be looking and what a weird thing to say??? Then as the girl put the veggies on my bowl, I said “thank you. I really do appreciate it.” And she fully ignored me. After all that, the food isn’t even good. Not worth the money or the headache.
