  We visited on Saturday, September 12, 2026, for a concert event, and while the evening started well, it ended in a deeply disappointing way. The food itself was excellent, but be aware that the menu changes for concert nights, and prices go up accordingly. If you're planning to attend an event here, don't expect the regular menu or regular prices. Unfortunately, everything fell apart at the end of the night because of a server named Diana — the tallest one on staff. She was extremely rude to us, raising her voice and telling us, in front of everyone, "hace falta que se muevan y se vayan que por aquí va a pasar el artista" ("I need you to move and get out of here because the artist is coming through"). Not once did she say "please." She spoke to us as if she owned the place, which she does not — I actually saw the owner he was there , which made this even more disappointing to witness. We were embarrassed in front of the entire restaurant; people turned to stare at us because of the scene she caused. We nearly walked out right then. Because of this experience, we will not be returning. La comida en sí estuvo excelente, pero tengan en cuenta que el menú cambia las noches de concierto, y los precios suben en consecuencia. Si planean asistir a un evento aquí, no esperen el menú regular ni los precios regulares. Desafortunadamente, todo se arruinó al final de la noche por culpa de una mesera llamada Diana, la más alta del personal. Fue extremadamente grosera con nosotros, levantando la voz y diciéndonos, frente a todos, "hace falta que se muevan y se vayan que por aquí va a pasar el artista". Ni una sola vez dijo "por favor". Nos habló como si ella fuera la dueña del lugar, lo cual no es cierto — de hecho conozco al dueño estaba ahi , lo que hizo esto aún más decepcionante de presenciar. Nos sentimos avergonzados frente a todo el restaurante; la gente volteaba a vernos por la escena que ella causó. Casi nos fuimos en ese momento. Debido a esta experiencia, no regresaremos nunca más.

  My DNA is 99.7% Spain spanish as confirmed by 23andMe.. Authentic Spanish food has been my go to comfort food my entire life. We have lived year-round in SW Florida for 10+ years. As said I am Spanish, my wife is French, we have traveled the world, and we know good food. Not boasting, simply establishing our credentials. We had given up in finding good to excellent food in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Bonita, Punta Gorda, North Fort Myers, and Naples. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and made a decision to RISK another restaurant. WHAT A BLESSING! The food at TAVERNA OLE (accent over the "E") is OUTSTANDING, AUTHENTIC, 100% SPANISH. We risked a selection of Tapas. More than we could possible eat in one seating. It was intentional to see if we would ever return. Will we? Our answer; We found a home! Each dish transported us to SPAIN. The ingredients were fresh and of excellent quality. The oil was the freshest in aroma and taste, The recipe's were authentic. I know! Okay, now for eveything else. A spotless place. The ambiance is warm and inviting. Staff: ALL made us feel welcome. The Manager Diana (Cuban born & 14-years spent in Madrid), and our Server Adriana are friendly warm, & knwledgeable. The best there is. When was the last time you ate out and felt appreciated? Our table had been decorated to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The young, beautiful, soft spoken hostess that greeted us was the start of a very special, magical, and heart-warming evening. We could tell she is a refined young lady. In addition to her demeanor, when we were leaving I went to give her a gratuity for her graciousness in decorateing our table. It was not easy to get her to accept it. She kept telling us it was not necessary. In the end I insisted and she accepted. That's a lady! If you have ever visited Japan you will understand what I mean. If you have read read this far, what is wrong with you! 'LOL'. We Highly recommend this very special place. Ole!

  First time trying here, accidentally made a reservation for the wrong day, but they had a table for us. Food was great, especially the bacon wrapped dates stuffed with blue cheese. We had 5 total dishes and we liked all of them with the exception of one which wasn’t bad, just wasn’t what we had expected. Pricing was pretty good for the quality of food. They do add a 20 percent gratuity on every check.

  I made a reservation for myself and 2 friends for a girls night. We had never been and wanted to support the September Sizzle program so we thought to try Taberna Ole. When i walked it it smelled a little fishy. I assumed something had just been served with a strong fish smell. We ordered a red wine which was not available, the server replaced it with another that was supposed to be the same price. Most wines were under $65 and thr bottle we chose was $40. We then ordered our meals. I had the Mediterranean salad which had soggy lettuce and was too many olives. The next course I had was a cod cake, bacon wrapped date and croquetta. It was ok. My friend had the garlic shrimp which she said were good and the other had the spicy tuna on crispy rice which she said tasted really fishy. They were out of prime rib so my friends ordered the cod, I had yhe paella as it was something they were known for. When the food finally arrived it was so fishy I barely ate the rice. My friends ate their cod but again said it didn't taste very fresh. The last course was dessert which they had run out of, gave us other options, then came back and gave different options and then ultimately gave us what we originally ordered. We enjoyed the wine, 2 bottles and had to ask for the check and desserts to go as it had been about 3 hours from the time we sat and we needed to get home. We did not see the bill but for 3. $35 prix fix meals and 2 bottles of $40 wine our total was $220. It appears the wine we ordered was $50 a bottle. The server Maryann was nice and attentive but not explaining the cost of the wine before serving is tacky, it was only $20 difference but when looking at all part of the evening, the smell, the slow service, the running out of items this is not a place I would revisit.

  Food was great! I am not sure if it was an off day when I went but we got there at 6:30 and didn’t leave until close to 9:30. That’s how slow the food took. Just for some perspective it took an hour and a half to get our salad appetizer. We were just a party of 2. There was also mo explanation or acknowledgment of what was taking them so long, but we just stayed patient and didn’t complain.
