I wanted their 1946 style pizza but with mushrooms (which comes with extra sauce on top), but it didnt give me the option to add mushrooms. I called the store to ask if they can add the pizza sauce on top of my pizza if I were to order a custom pie and explained the situation. The guy said No... he said if I dont have the option to add extra sauce, then they cant do it. I've never heard of a pizza establishment not being able to accommodate a customer with extra sauce? Business must be good because you just lost a potential long term customer.

I had never heard of Detroit style pizza before I had pizza at Stella's, and OMG it's absolutely the best pizza ever! It's better than a deep dish, because the edges are like the edges of French onion soup: the absolute best, just amazing, fried crunchy goodness, all around the edge of the pizza. It's to die for! I've told everyone I know about it. We order it for our girls night, and it's always a huge hit. I'm eternally grateful that Stella's exists here in Fort Lauderdale, and I've had the privilege of being fed by them. Shout out to their amazing homemade chips, too! They come with the sandwiches, which btw are also super good. I've had the chicken Parm and the Philly cheese steak, and they were both incredible. So if you're thinking about trying Stella's out, stop thinking and go immediately. You will not be disappointed!

The Stella sweet and sassy sauce was like a creamy buffalo hot sauce and Thai chili mash up and worked really well on the wings. The pizza sauce is flavorful and so is the dough for the Neapolitan style pizza- loved the basil and oregano flavors paired with the mozzarella on the Margherita. The vegan Detroit style pizza also had that yummy flavorful sauce and fresh tasting dough! And the vegan Philly came with lots of mushrooms and peppers in a cheesy style sauce- loved that it was full of fresh veggies.
