First time in and this place did not disappoint!
The plates are high and the staff on top of all of it. The manager was always checking on the table. On this one i was so hungry I forgot to take photos of my plate. But I had the mom’s omelet and it was a filling plate. Crab cakes Benedet. The desserts are BOOM (see pics) yes come in hungry leave heavy eyed and w a 😊 smile.
This restaurant was surprisingly fantastic. We were just looking for your basic brunch location and the whole family was very impressed by the food the service and the atmosphere. We were a family of 10 visiting from Texas, children as young as 10, 12, 14, 16 and young adult children all enjoyed the selection and the food. Big winners with everybody was the chicken and waffles, just don’t order it with jalapeños like we have here in Texas, and the omelettes. The losers, the muffins weren’t all that great, not bad, but not really great.

One thing I definitely have to say is that Terry our waitress we were a party of 14 and I know she had other tables and she gave us incredible service never had to ask for anything always was in top of our waters or asking if we wanted any refills. It was a great experience. We go to mom‘s kitchen every once in a while and we’ve always liked it. We like the New Edition of having the music and that second dining area that there is now just a reminder Terry was spectacular.

If you're looking for a place with amazing homemade comfort food, Mom's Kitchen in Fort Lauderdale is definitely worth the visit!
Everything we ordered was absolutely yummylicious—that's what we call food like this on our YouTube channel, It's All About Food & Places.
I had the Reuben sandwich with fries, and it was outstanding. Easily one of the best Reubens I've had—packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the stuffed turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy, and it was just as delicious. You could really taste the homemade quality.
For dessert, we couldn't resist the six-layer carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Wow! One of the best carrot cakes I've ever had. We also had the apple pie with ice cream, and knowing the pie is made fresh in-house made it even better. Every bite was fantastic.
The service was just as impressive as the food. From the manager to our waitress, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The menu has so many great choices that it was hard to decide what to order.
My wife is already planning to come back on Friday to try the fish and chips! I wanted to order the Eggs Benedict because I heard the homemade Hollandaise sauce is excellent, but since I had skipped lunch, I needed something with a little more protein. That just gives us another reason to come back.
We highly recommend Mom's Kitchen. We'll definitely be featuring this restaurant on our YouTube channel, It's All About Food & Places, so others can discover this hidden gem too!
Mom's Kitchen, is hands down, one of me and my husband's favorite diners in the entire world. Every single time we come in there, we are taken care of by the most fantastic servers and staff, from our very first server ever, Priscilla, to Stephanie, Julie, Darcy, Mila, even the supporting staff and the names of who I haven't learned yet (will add) the list goes on and will continue because we've never had a bad experience here!
It makes our week and the food is always delicious!
I always get the Farmer's Breakfast with Provolone Cheese and Bacon, paired with their house made Mom's Kitchen Hot Sauce and a fantastic Strawberry Orange Mimosa. My Husband switches it up between Reuben's, the Big Boy (2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 meat, 2 pancakes), or just Pancakes with Pecans and always their house made coffee, which he loves!
We are weekly customers here, recommend it to all our friends and family, and will continue to come here for a long time!
Love & Blessings!
