  Sunday, August 2nd I stopped by. I always enjoyed coming to Ellianos and have spent way too much money here over the years. The coffee is good, I visit often, and I always tip because I know customer service jobs aren’t easy. Today’s experience, though, was pretty disappointing. While ordering, I asked the employee what her favorite food item was. She replied, “Oh, I don’t eat the food here.” Fair enough—but probably not something I’d recommend saying to customers. I then asked what people usually order, and she said the grits, but they were out. So I asked for the egg bites instead, and she responded, “Oh yeah, people like those too!” Great—that’s what I ordered. My total came to a little over $24. I handed her $30 and asked if I could get my change back. She handed me my change…and my extra $5 back too. 😂 I was actually trying to leave a tip. After waiting, we received our two coffees and muffin, but no egg bites. A few minutes later, another employee opened the window and asked if we were waiting on anything else. I mentioned the egg bites, and after checking the screen she said, “Yeah, you didn’t get those. You’ll have to pull around to the other window and order them.” At that point, I had to get to work, so I just drove away. Mistakes happen, and I completely understand that. What made this experience frustrating wasn’t one mistake—it was the overall interaction from start to finish. Between the negative comments about the food, the confusion with the order, and then being told to get back in line to reorder something that I’d already requested, it just left a bad impression. Spending around $25 for two coffees and a muffin is crazy work and I was actually worried about making sure I left a good tip. Instead, I left feeling like I didn’t want to come back that day. I genuinely hope this was just an off morning, because I’ve always enjoyed Ellianos and would love to have the positive experiences I used to have.

  Newly opened on Maricamp near my job. The service was top notch. I believe I was greeted in the drive up by the owner who had me pull forward in the line. But went in and had my food was brought out to me as it was pre-order via mobile. Which I LOVE!! The server who delivered it was very personable and friendly.

  The drink was full of ice chunks not smooth at all and the extra shot was not in it. I ask for half syrup and extra smooth carmella freezer. My home town makes our drinks perfect every time. The Eustis, fla. location needs alot of training and needs ro follow instructions on the slip that prints to put on the cup from mobile orders
