  Four of us just had lunch at Landys. Our server, Carol, was the absolute best! Such personality! She went way above and beyond to accommodate our requests. She really made our experience memorable. She is the server you would want to request whenever you are there.

  Loved our meal! We started with raw oysters, which were delicious. I had the fried tripletail and my husband had grilled tripletail. Both were excellent. We sat at the bar and our bartender was great—everything was served in a timely fashion and she was very personable (sorry, I don’t remember her name). An excellent experience and we will definitely return! Note: I took the photo after I had already taken a bite! 😁

  Not our first time dining here. I was a little disappointed this time with my meal. Had reservations for Mother’s Day, got seated immediately. Generally the crowd was much lighter due to snowbirds leaving the area. Initially it took a little longer than usual to be greeted by a server. Our server was very nice and attentive once she showed up. I ordered the prime rib dinner with mashed potatoes. My dinner came out with sweet potato fries and no a’jous sauce. When she circled around to see if everything was okay. I asked if she could please bring me mashed potatoes and inquired if any juice came with the prime rib? She said “oh you only got half your meal “. She was happy to fix the mix up. My biggest disappointment was really just the prime rib. It was cooked fine. It just wasn’t melt in your mouth, juicy or flavorful. Tasted like an old, cheap cut of meat. I ordered this meal at Thanksgiving time and it was delicious then. Our waitress was very nice and did a great job. The atmosphere was excellent. I will eat there again someday, but I will try some new places now on the next special occasion.

  We went to Landy‘s the day before Mother’s Day, and I was quite disappointed. We ordered the crab stuffed flounder and the piece of flour that was so small with very little crab in it The sides were not very tasty. The mashed potatoes were very dry. The coleslaw didn’t taste like citrus at all and was very dry for a $28 meal. We left hungry. The waitress and the atmosphere were great. It’s just the food was not up to par. They need to increase their portion size a little bit from my Mom to be hungry when we left was quite disappointing since she does not even eat very much.

  We are snowbirds and went here the first time last year and it was excellent. This year we have gone twice. Both times we sat at the tiki for lunch and cocktails and no bartender for a long time. First time I had to go in and ask if anyone was working out here. Today 3 other couple there waiting when we got there and no bartender. Another long wait and finally she comes out and says “oh wow, didn’t know there were people here, I was out back washing windows”. What kind of crap is that?? Then I go inside to use the restroom and there are 4 employees behind the inside bar on their phones. This place needs some serious management oversight. We won’t be back this year, maybe one more try next year but these last two time totally unacceptable service.
