  First time at this restaurant. Tried a variety of things from the menu and everything we ordered was phenomenal. I personally would recommend the key lime and I don’t even like key lime pie typically. Our server was Cece and she was so accommodating and she contributed to making the overall dining experience fantastic!

  Salt and Ash has a great menu, and you can tell a lot of care goes into how everything is prepared. The chicken was amazing, and I’m still thinking about the green goddess salad. The truffle potatoes were delicious, and I really enjoyed the coconut ceviche too. We celebrated a 50th birthday with key lime pie and a blueberry olive oil cake. Everything tasted fresh and was done just right. Shout out to Chef Louis for such a good meal!

  We had a fantastic dinner from start to finish!! Was in town for a girls trip for my 50th birthday and Chef Louis was beyond accommodating and gracious. We enjoyed several appetizers, top of the line entrees and unforgettable desserts and cocktails. Highly recommend a visit next time you are in close proximity to Hawk’s Cay on Duck Key!

  This restaurant is a hidden gem! First, the resort staff are very friendly and they directed us to the restaurant warmly. We went later at night, about an hour before closing, and the hostess was warm and welcoming and our future server was also there to welcome us. Cece was so great and patient with us all throughout dinner and she answered all our questions about the menu, provided an awesome recommendation for the appetizer (get the buns!!) and she talked up the catch of the day, which also turned out to be great! The 4 of us all got something different and shared sides and everything we had was delicious! We were very greatful they had good options for non-fish eaters too, without having to pay for steak! This restaurant is more on the expensive side, but the food is well worth it if you spend on what you really want. Someone in our party said it was the best chicken she's maybe ever had. Food was amazing and Cece was so great, as was everyone else! The open kitchen is really cool too!

  We took my mother-in-law to Salt & Ash for her birthday, and we couldn’t have picked a better place! Michael, our server, went above and beyond and was incredibly attentive to every detail throughout our meal. The restaurant is beautiful and clean, the ambiance is fantastic, and the food was absolutely superb. The menu has a great variety of options, making it easy for everyone to find something they’ll enjoy. And the kids’ menu is, by far, the best kids’ menu I’ve ever seen at a restaurant—so many great choices! The only small suggestion we would have is regarding the bathroom situation. The restaurant recommends using the bathroom by the pool, which is understandable, but having access to a clean, air-conditioned bathroom inside the lobby would be a nice added touch and would complement the overall experience even more. Other than that, everything was wonderful. It’s a great spot for families and would also be perfect for a date night. We’ll definitely be back! One tip: we found it a little tricky to get there, but Apple Maps gave us a much more direct route. Definitely worth the trip!
