Great oysters, great fish (I had the red snapper piccata, it was great). The drinks were great and they even made me a virgin drink since I don't drink. The atmosphere was great if not a bit loud. Definitely will be back.

Went there today for my wife's birthday. The front end and waitress were fantastic. The chef is a total jerk and doesn't deserve to run a kitchen. His ego and probably lack of self esteem led to the worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant. It was appalling and embarrassing. The waitress actually came back from the kitchen with a tear running down her face. The chef should be ashamed of himself. Shame on you and shame on any establishment that allows that type of abusive person to work there.

Had a wonderful experience at City Oyster & Sushi Bar this past Sunday celebrating my wife’s birthday, and a huge part of that was our waiter, Drew. We were a lively table with young children and in-laws, and Drew was absolutely phenomenal, thoughtful, attentive, warm, and completely on the ball from start to finish. He anticipated needs before we even had to ask and made the whole celebration feel effortless and special.
This restaurant is lucky to have him. Drew is a national treasure and the kind of hospitality professional who elevates an entire dining experience. I wanted to write this so management knows what a gem they have. The food was exceptional as well, but Drew truly made the day memorable. We’ll absolutely be back!!

Well, we ducked into City Oyster this afternoon to just grab a quick bite and take a break from the heat and we were pleasantly surprised all the way around. Out front was packed, and while that can be a lot of fun, we really sought out the coolness of some solid AC and the ability to chat.
We ordered a couple of mocktails which were both light and refreshing. I had the ginger peach with fruit juices, which was light and not too sweet at all! My husband had the strawberry lime mojito, which had such a nice cool clean flavor.
We were surprised to find that they were still serving brunch in the mid-afternoon, and while the offerings sounded wonderful, we both ordered off of the lunch menu. I had a chopped chicken salad with grogonzola and roasted red peppers. It was absolutely delish! My husband had the crab cake, which came with a small side salad. This would be my only complaint is that the side salad could probably have been a bit bigger. BUT! The crab cake! It was large and absolutely packed with crab. He declared that he thinks it is the best crab cake he has ever had! I got a small taste it was truly a delight! Everything was well plated and decorative on top of being delicious. I am unsure why I didn't take pictures. :-/
Our server was wonderful. While I forget her name, we chatted about her hometown in Maine and she was very personable and attentive.
The interior was calm and relaxing and felt very cozy. There is a large bar great for chatting up new people. The large half round booths to welcome larger parties, made it feel like a place where you could come for dinner and stay for drinks and conversation into the evening. Long story long.... we can not wait to go back.
Next time....oystahs. <3

We love this spot and make a point to stop in every time we’re in town. It’s definitely popular, so I’d recommend making a reservation ahead of time.
The food is consistently great; our go-to is the Del Ray sushi roll, which is such a unique combo with lobster and mango. The crab cake is outstanding (packed with flavor and not overly filler-heavy), and the crab artichoke dip is another must-order.
They also have an exceptional wine list and a great cocktail selection, which really rounds out the experience. Overall, always a delicious and reliable spot—highly recommend!
