  Let me start by saying the service was top-notch. They aim to please. The food was equally as good. We ordered the dumpling tasting. The dumplings were all fantastic, and the presentation was beautiful. Next, we ordered Chef Ben's Selection, delicious, fresh, and again a beautiful presentation. Lastly, we had the Wagyu Tallow Fried Rice, which was so very good. I loved the marinated egg yolk, which gave the rice a rich texture, and the garlic chips gave it that extra kick of flavor. Will definitely be back for more!

  First time trying and it was exceptional. Fresh and creative food. Our server Ryan was knowledgeable and provided great service. Definitely coming back for their late night menu next time.

  ★★★★★ Chubby Cat – Delray Beach Absolutely outstanding modern Japanese izakaya experience in downtown Delray! The vibe is playful yet polished—cute cat-themed details everywhere, cool lighting, and a lively but comfortable atmosphere that feels special without being stuffy. Service was attentive and friendly the entire time. The food is next-level. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the signature rolls are creative and delicious. We loved the Chubby Fight (bluefin tuna, uni, ikura—so rich and balanced) and the Tri-Scallop Roll. The wagyu curry gyoza and truffle fries were also standouts. Everything was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. Craft cocktails were excellent too. Perfect spot for a date night, celebration, or just treating yourself to high-quality sushi and small plates. We’ll be back soon—highly recommend!

  Sarah was exceptionally great, the food was delicious. We came for happy hour recommended by my sister, and it was definitely worth the hype. Each dish was packed with flavor, and the drinks were amazing, makes you want to keep ordering 🤣 Everything in the happy hour is definitely worth trying ! Overall fantastic atmosphere and great service I will be recommending this to everyone! Thank you !

  I just kinda don’t know where to start with this. I went there with high hopes I was told by a friend that it was delicious. I first ordered the miso salmon that was so incredibly salty and fishy and farmed. I did ask them their fishes formed and it taste like it’s formed. I have never had formed sushi from a sushi place. I thought they were all supposed to use fresh fish. I couldn’t eat it. The girl insisted that they take it back, cause I took one bite and was disgusted. I then ordered the yellowtail sushi and it was very gave me very fishy also. Then last but not least. I did order the pork belly because at that point I realized that the fish there was formed because that’s when she came back and told us that and it was actually really good so I was happy. I had picked that. Unless at least we had the only dessert that they have there that was some kind of cheesecake mushy something I don’t know. I always eat my dessert. You gotta love it. I mean it was my birthday and I love dessert who doesn’t, I had one bite of the dessert and the rest I ate was the whipped cream. Skip this place this place I guarantee will not stick around long because their quality of fish is well. Let’s just say there is no quality and you’ve got a sushi place. You can’t afford to get people sick don’t be feeding them raw farmed fish.
