The manager/shift person even told the cashier they had someone waiting, why the mgr./shift lead didn't take my order is a mystery. I left. When companies don't need customers or choose not to train people or uphold standards it harms the business. There are too many options for dining to lose a customer.

Nearly every Chick-fil-A operates with a universal standard of excellence in customer service. That is one of the reasons people keep coming back. Unfortunately, this location did not feel like Chick-fil-A at all. Instead of feeling welcomed and treated like part of the Chick-fil-A family, it felt more like being rushed through a fast-food line at McDonald’s. The staff was rushed, rude, and the entire process felt unorganized. In all my years of going to Chick-fil-A, this was the first time I had to stand at the counter and wait for both my food and drinks. Normally, you place your order, receive a table marker, sit down, and the food is brought to you. Not here. They rushed us to order, made us stand at the counter for a long time, and then finally handed us our food. On top of that, the lady who took my order questioned whether or not I had paid for my breakfast sandwich. Of course I had paid for it. It was sitting on the tray with my name on it. Then my wife ordered a large drink and was given a medium. Normally, at Chick-fil-A, you simply let them know and they correct the mistake. Not at this location. They refused to fix their own error. This was not the Chick-fil-A standard I know and expect. Truett Cathy would be ashamed of the service we received today.

The restaurant was exceptionally clean, well-staffed, and welcoming. Our food arrived quickly, and several team members checked on us throughout our meal to make sure we had everything we needed. We left very pleased with our dining experience. What truly sets this location apart, however, is the outstanding customer service. After leaving, I accidentally left my purse in our booth and didn't realize it until nearly three hours later. By then, turning around wasn't an option. Panicked, I called the restaurant and was relieved to learn that my purse had been found and safely secured. The manager I initially spoke with explained that they were unable to ship lost items due to liability concerns, but assured me that my purse would be locked in the office, accessible only to managers, until I or someone I knew could pick it up. Since I have family traveling to Destin next month, I figured they could retrieve it for me and felt grateful knowing it was safe. Then, about a week later, I received a call from Darren. He went above and beyond by offering to mail my purse to me and even provided a tracking number. I cannot express how grateful I am for his kindness and willingness to help. Within a few days, my purse arrived safely at my doorstep, along with some Chick-fil-A goodies that were such a thoughtful surprise. Darren truly saved the day, and his exceptional customer service turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a positive experience. Thank you to Darren and the entire team for your professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for your customers. This location is an incredible example of what great customer service should be. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
