The most effective reviews are factual, specific, and professional rather than exaggerated, because those are taken more seriously by corporate teams, health inspectors, and other customers. Absolutely unacceptable experience at Pollo. I ordered a soup and salad along with a Number 9. The Number 9 was fine, but when my girlfriend started eating the soup, she discovered pieces of plastic and parchment paper inside it. What makes this even more concerning is the fact that the soup is served from one large pot. That means there is no way to know how long the plastic and parchment paper had been sitting in there, whether more contamination was present, or how many other customers may have already been served from the same batch. If the plastic had been sitting in hot soup for hours, there’s a real possibility that customers were consuming melted plastic and contaminated food without knowing it. I immediately contacted corporate expecting them to take the situation seriously. Instead, I was told they “couldn’t help” because I didn’t have a receipt — even though the restaurant itself failed to provide me with one. I was still able to provide the exact order details and proof of purchase, but apparently protecting customers from contaminated food is less important than their receipt policy. The lack of urgency, accountability, and concern for customer safety was honestly more disturbing than the contamination itself. Finding foreign objects in food is already unacceptable, but dismissing a potential health hazard over a missing receipt that their own employees failed to provide is beyond irresponsible. I will never return to this location again, and I will be filing a complaint with the health department so this incident can be properly investigated before someone gets seriously sick.

  Amazing. Love this place, it’s Consistent every time. Never had a bad bowl or order. Super fresh. We come here like 3 times a week for the tropichop it’s so good. Reasonable prices for great quality food.

  Fue buenísimo me atendieron rápido un señor que habla español hay otros que hablan inglés eso es lo que me gusta a mí que hable en español y en inglés

  I left/lost my phone in the bathroom of this Pollo Tropical. Took me about 2 hours to notice. I went back completely hopeless bc the place was super busy. To my surprise (+ to restore my faith in people ) an employee found it , told only the other employees and kept it in inside waiting for the owner to claim it. I cant believe I got my phone back! I would love to post his name here but I was so tense I cant recall it. It starts with an R , it's an unusual name. So, 100% 5☆ to this store for hiring him and the staff working there tonight. Oh , and the food is good too!! Grilled chicken quesadilla wrap and quatro leches are the best !! Thank you, young R !!
