  Unfortunately, in addition to the roach on the wall the bartender had to kill in the middle of our dinner, the food itself was very bland and honestly didn’t give you the Mexican taste you’re looking for. We will not be returning. Service was okay though, our waiter was a nice kid.

  For a Mexican restaurant, it was unusual that we didn’t even get that familiar fajita smell when we walked through the door. Unfortunately, that ended up being a pretty good indication of the experience to come. The service was disappointing from the start. We handed the server our dinner menus, but I kept the drink menu because I had planned to order an alcoholic beverage. The server walked around to the other side of the table, reached behind the bench where I was sitting, and simply took the menu without asking. It may have been for the best since the drinks were quite pricey, but the way it was handled was off-putting. Needless to say, that definitely affected the tip. The salsa was bland and lacked seasoning and flavor. We ordered fajitas, but you can’t order fajitas for two or get a combination of chicken and steak. The meat itself was good quality, but unfortunately, it had absolutely no flavor or seasoning. We asked for limes so we could try to add some flavor ourselves, and we were brought just one lime. There were also issues with the drinks. We ordered water, but there was barely any ice in the glasses. When my water was refilled, the server added no ice at all, leaving me with room-temperature water. Another server ended up bringing our food, and I’m not sure what happened with our original server, but at that point, we just went with it. The best part of the entire experience was honestly the ambiance and the overall look of the restaurant. The atmosphere was attractive and had a nice Mexican-inspired feel, but unfortunately, the food and service didn’t live up to the appearance. Overall, I was really disappointed, especially since this was our first visit while we were visiting from out of town. The food had potential because the quality of the meat was good, but the lack of seasoning and flavor, along with the inattentive service, made for a disappointing experience. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning and would not recommend this restaurant to others.
