  Had an amazing time here our server was named Krystal she was great we’ve never been here and neither of us had actually had crab before so it was first time experience all around and Krystal showed us how to eat it, helped us with our order and also attended us the whole time with our drinks and checked on us the entire time hands down best server at Joe’s Crab Shack 👍

  This place is just getting worse and worse on service. My wife and I come here every time we come to Daytona Beach last time the bartender took care of us and she was great and understanding. The time before that I cought Flack and this time I got enough that I didn't even order I got my wife some Crab and I got some bread. You see a few years ago I developed an allergic reaction to shellfish and had to stop eating it so we come here to get her crab and I can still eat the baked and grilled fish, but most on the menu comes with shrimp do I ask if they would replace the shrimp with rice or fries something simple and I was flat out told no and I could order something else, like chicken fingers, I didn't want chicken I want fish hence the reason I'm here. And now my wife says that there is so much old bay covering her crab that her mouth is on fire, she is eating it but don't to me look like she is enjoying it like she normally does. I can smell it from here it's almost burning my nose. Maybe this is the end of us coming all this way just to visit this Joe's. Just a shame

  First time at Joe’s was good! The vibes were definitely there, I just think our server might have been on the newer side which is totally fine. She was just a little forgetful. When the food came out, we had a small issue with one of the plates and it was immediately handled with kindness! This was my first seafood boil and it was delicious, it was just a little cold. My 9yo son ordered the shark nibble drink and we and loved the shark bit they do with the entire restaurant. Overall, it was a nice experience and we will definitely be back to eat outside and take in those ocean views!

  I had a very frustrating experience at the upstairs bar at Joe’s Crab Shack in Daytona on April 10. The bartender working the 2 PM shift (woman with short brown hair & horrible teeth) ignored me for over 10 minutes while I was simply trying to pay my tab, yet continued serving multiple customers who approached after me. After being overlooked for that long, I tried to get her attention out of frustration and was then asked to leave instead of having the situation handled professionally. As someone who has owned a brewery for over 8 years, I can confidently say this was some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced—disorganized, dismissive, and unnecessarily confrontational. What makes this even more disappointing is that we were in town for a cheer event, and my wife had organized a group of about 40 parents to visit later that evening. After this experience, the entire group chose to go to LandShark Bar & Grill - Daytona Beach that night and the following evening, where we received exceptional customer service. Losing one customer is one thing—losing a large group and the word-of-mouth that comes with it is another. Experiences like this hurt both revenue and reputation. Extremely disappointing.

  Food is on the salty side, my fish was well over cooked, they were not very busy but our waiter just couldn't seem to provide everything we needed and kept having to ask for things that should already be at the table, one for example is we got our food but were not provided utensils and had to ask a couple of times before we got them. We ordered before 2 other tables but got our food after them, which is really irritating.
