  On 07/04/26 at the Daytona Beach location, I had a very disappointing experience at the drive-thru. After a card terminal issue, one employee repeatedly and loudly claimed my card had insufficient funds, which was untrue and embarrassing in front of other customers. Even after I paid with another card, she continued delaying my order, gave me the wrong drink, refused to give me the water I ordered, and refused to provide her name. Her behavior was rude, unprofessional, and should be verified through the security camera footage and transaction records.

  I ordered an Americano with almond milk and a water. When my card wouldn’t go through due to what appeared to be a terminal issue, one employee was polite, but another employee immediately and repeatedly insisted that my card had insufficient funds. I knew that wasn’t true, so I simply used another card, which worked immediately. Instead of moving on, she kept trying to embarrass me by repeating that my card had no money while there was a long line of customers waiting behind me. I repeatedly asked her to please give me my order since I had already paid, but she continued delaying everything. Then she gave me the wrong drink without the almond milk I ordered and refused to give me the water that I had requested. When I asked for her name, she refused. The entire interaction was rude, disrespectful, and humiliating. Thankfully, the security cameras should show exactly what happened. I sincerely hope management reviews the footage and addresses this employee’s behavior. No customer deserves to be treated this way. The employee involved was wearing a Dutch Bros jersey and a blue cap at the drive-thru window around the time of my visit. Management should have no trouble identifying who handled my order by reviewing the security camera footage and the transaction records. Daytona beach location. Instead of helping, she kept delaying my order while a long line of customers waited behind me. Customer service employees should know how to de-escalate situations, not escalate them.   This location is 10/10 AMAZING! We frequent this location very, very often because it is in-between home and work/school. The staff is always so friendly and quick. Today I ordered a mobile order and accidentally placed it with the LPGA location by mistake. When my husband went to pick up the drinks- they were SO kind once they figured out my mistake and made the drinks as quickly as possible for us. True customer service!!! They are the best.

  I love that place! Great coffee drinks! It is my favorite place here at Daytona Beach! Really give it a try and you will certainly want to go back there!

  I just learned about Dutch Bros as soon as it was built in Daytona I've had at least a dozen or more drinks there and I could say that I was not disappointed in any of the drinks that I have chosen and I've been trying to get a different one every time. I've been to Starbucks Duncan and other coffee shops and there are drinks there that I do not like. But at Dutch Bros I really haven't found a coffee drink that they made for me that I did not like plus the service is awesome and staff is very friendly
