  Not much of this type of food around Davenport. Everything I’ve had is fantastic. Always good, attentive service to answer my questions and food made fresh. Love this place.

  The food is awesome. Definitely a mum and pop shop vibe worth the visit they gave us some sample butter chicken curry that was delicious.

  We came to Reunion Gyro for my birthday because we specifically wanted to support a local, family-owned business, and I’m so glad we chose this place. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was clean, welcoming, and smelled incredible. We were greeted by one of the owners, Ridwan, and his personality and hospitality immediately stood out. He made some great recommendations, and since we had a pretty big group, we were able to try a little bit of everything. He even gave the kids lollipops, which absolutely made their day. It’s those little touches that make you feel genuinely welcomed. Then we sat down and tried the food… and WOW. Everything was delicious. The food came out hot, incredibly fresh, and you could immediately tell there were no shortcuts being taken. Even the hummus tasted freshly homemade. Everything had that comforting, made-with-care quality you hope to find in a small family restaurant. Our entire group was impressed. Great food, great hospitality, great atmosphere, and a family business that clearly takes pride in what they serve. If you’re anywhere in the area, give Reunion Gyro a try. Places like this deserve the support. 10/10. And if Google would let me give them a 20/10, I would. 😂 We’ll absolutely be back!

  Okay, so WHY have I waited this long to try Reunion Gyro Halal Restaurant?! 😂 It’s literally right next to where I work, and somehow I kept passing it up. BIG mistake because my husband and I loved it!! I love curry, so the owner recommended the curry chicken for me, and WOW. 🙌🏽 The spice level was perfect—not too much, but enough to make you say, “Okayyyyy, I see you!” 😂 The chicken was flavorful and everything tasted so fresh. I also got the veggie samosas and they were SO good! My husband got the gyro and was very impressed with the amount of meat they put in it. And when I say there was a LOT of meat… there was a LOT of meat. 😂 He was one happy man. Even the French fries got his approval, so you know they were doing something right! I also really love that they’re a halal restaurant. You don’t always find halal options around here, so it’s awesome having a place with halal food AND a menu with so many different choices. The owner was super nice, the food was fresh, portions were generous, and now I have a whole list of things I want to try next time. 😂 Needless to say, we will DEFINITELY be back! I’m just mad at myself for not trying this place sooner. 🤦🏽‍♀️😂

  Food and service was fantastic. The gentleman helping us was kind patient and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you! Fantastic restaurant that I would highly recommend!
