  Thank you, Jesús, for giving us such an amazing experience! The service was absolutely outstanding, the food was delicious, and everything was perfect from start to finish. You made us feel so welcome and comfortable, almost like being at home. Your kindness, attention to detail, and warm attitude made our visit truly special. Thank you for making our experience at Sirocco unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend Sirocco, especially thanks to Jesús and his exceptional service. 🙌🏻✨

  Where do I begin? From the moment we entered, everyone was ALL smiles with attention. We sat outside, the weather couldn’t be more perfect (slight breeze, no humidity). Am I still in Florida lol.. the lighting was just RIGHT, the music set the perfect vibes. There were many birthdays-they have their own birthday song-so Authentic! The dish, I ordered was their Shrimp Scampi, OMG it was so delicious, I never placed my fork down almost thought I was going to need a wheelchair to the car. This dish was like a “party in my mouth full of flavors” The service-our waiter, Khaled, provided such a warm feeling was as if we had our own server, the entire evening just waiting on us. So attentive to details, aimed to please, very polished and poised. Lastly, to add this incredible experience, was the owner came out to chat with us and get feedback. Thank you! Thank you! Definitely an impression for a first date!

  We had a great experience at Sirocco Mediterranean Restaurant in Dania Pointe. The restaurant itself is beautiful and feels very different from the typical dining experience in the area. The Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-inspired décor is gorgeous, with a second floor, center bar, wraparound layout, and visible open kitchen that all give the space a really impressive feel. Of course, ambiance can only take a restaurant so far. What really makes or breaks an experience is the food and, especially, the service — and our server Khalid was one of the highlights of the evening. Khalid stood out from the moment he greeted us. He was warm, engaging, helpful, and extremely attentive throughout the entire meal. He paid attention to the little details, always had a smile on his face, and genuinely seemed happy to be taking care of his guests. His positive energy and attentiveness made a noticeable difference in our experience. Unfortunately, great service can sometimes be hard to come by these days, so having someone like Khalid who clearly takes pride in what he does was incredibly refreshing. The food was good overall. We did feel that some of the price points on certain menu items were a little difficult to justify and felt more in line with what you would expect from a true fine-dining restaurant, but we still enjoyed our meal and the overall experience. I also really appreciated seeing the owner so present and involved throughout the restaurant, checking on tables and seemingly paying attention to every aspect of the business. That speaks volumes and gives you confidence that the restaurant is being carefully looked after and well run. The belly dancing show was another fun addition and added a lot to the atmosphere. Even more entertainment throughout the evening — perhaps additional belly dancers or some live music — could take the experience to another level. Overall, we had a very enjoyable evening and would absolutely give special recognition to Khalid for helping make it such a positive experience. Excellent service deserves to be acknowledged, and he definitely earned it.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SIROCCO AT DANIA POINTE — THIS HAITIAN American WOMAN APPROVES! 🇭🇹❤️🇫🇷 I went to Sirocco at Dania Pointe expecting a nice dinner, but what I got was a whole EXPERIENCE. As a Haitian woman 🇭🇹 who studied in France 🇫🇷, food, hospitality, flavor, and good conversation mean a LOT to me — and Sirocco delivered on all of it. Let’s start with Tarek, the owner. He came by my table several times to check on me personally, which I absolutely loved. That kind of hospitality reminded me of Haiti — when you welcome someone, you don’t just feed them, you make sure they are comfortable, happy, and WELL FED. 🇭🇹 Tarek suggested the grape leaves stuffed with beef and rice, and they were delicious — tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Then came his recommendation for the Lebanese bistec in mushroom sauce with the most magnificently fluffy mashed potatoes. MON DIEU! 😂 That steak was tender, rich, and full of flavor, the mushroom sauce was wonderful, and those mashed potatoes were so light and fluffy they practically deserved their own review. But WAIT. THE BREAD. That warm, amazing bread served with the garlic sauce was dangerous. 😂 I kept telling myself, “Marie-Odile, stop eating the bread, your entrée is coming.” I did not stop eating the bread. Now let’s talk about my server, Kaled. First of all… HE SPEAKS FRENCH! 🇫🇷 For a Haitian woman who studied in France, hearing French at my table immediately made me smile. There was something so comfortable and familiar about being able to switch languages while enjoying a beautiful Lebanese meal in South Florida. Second of all… Kaled is cute. 😂 I said what I said! But more importantly, he knows his menu. Kaled recommended the exact same entrée that Tarek had recommended. At that point, I thought, “Okay, when the owner AND the server tell a Haitian woman to order the same thing, mwen pap diskite! I am not arguing!” 😂🇭🇹 And they were absolutely right. Kaled took wonderful care of me and then recommended the perfect ending: pistachio baklava with a cortadito. OH. MY. GOODNESS. Flaky, sweet, nutty pistachio baklava followed by that little strong cortadito? Perfect. A beautiful Lebanese dessert with a little South Florida coffee finish — I loved every minute of it. What made the evening especially memorable was the hospitality. Tarek kept checking on me, Kaled made wonderful recommendations, and I never felt like just another customer. I felt welcomed. And Haitians know something about hospitality. 🇭🇹❤️ Sirocco, you officially won this Haitian lady over! If you're anywhere near Dania Pointe, GO. Get the grape leaves. Enjoy that incredible bread and garlic sauce. Order the Lebanese bistec with mushroom sauce and fluffy mashed potatoes. Trust Kaled. 😂 And absolutely save room for the pistachio baklava and cortadito. Food: 10/10. Service: 10/10. Hospitality: 10/10. Bread: DANGEROUSLY GOOD. 😂 From Haiti 🇭🇹 to France 🇫🇷 to Lebanon 🇱🇧 — good food and warm hospitality speak the same language. ❤️ I will DEFINITELY be back! P.S. If Kaled is working, tell him the Haitian lady who studied in France — and loved the bistec — sent you. 😂🇭🇹🇫🇷

  We went to Sirocco on Wednesday night to celebrate my birthday with a few friends. We were a party of five, and unfortunately, an issue with the corkage fee really affected what otherwise should have been a wonderful birthday dinner. Earlier that day, around noon, I specifically called the restaurant to ask about the corkage fee because I had been gifted a special bottle of wine that I wanted to enjoy with my friends. I was told over the phone that the corkage fee was $25. Based on that information, I decided to bring the bottle. When I asked our server to open it, he reminded me there was a corkage fee. I told him that I knew because I had called earlier and confirmed it was $25, and that I was completely fine with that. He opened the bottle, poured the wine, and we continued enjoying our dinner. About 20 minutes later, the owner came over to our table specifically to look at the bottle. At the time, I didn’t think much of it. However, when the check arrived, there was a $75 corkage charge instead of the $25 I had been quoted. We asked to speak with the manager and were then told that their corkage fee varies depending on the value of the bottle you bring. This was never explained to me when I called. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that the manager claimed he had actually been standing next to the hostess during my earlier phone call and that I had been told the fee started at $35 and would increase depending on the bottle. That is simply not what I was told. Several of us work in the restaurant and wine industry, and none of us had ever encountered a corkage policy where the fee changes according to the retail value of the bottle a guest brings. Corkage is a fee for the restaurant’s service of opening and serving a bottle brought by the guest. Charging more simply because the bottle happens to be more expensive makes absolutely no sense to us and is not something any of us have experienced in the industry. To the manager’s credit, after our conversation he agreed to adjust the charge. Our total dinner was over $600 for five people, so this was never about trying to avoid paying a corkage fee. I had no problem paying the $25 I was quoted, and I was charged $25 on my portion of the split check. Also we did order a bottle of wine from their menu and we had multiple drinks as well. I’m leaving this review because I think the way the situation was handled was unnecessarily uncomfortable and unprofessional. A guest should be able to call a restaurant, ask a straightforward question about a fee, and rely on the answer they are given. More importantly, determining a corkage fee based on how expensive the guest’s bottle is was something none of us, despite working in this business, had ever encountered before.
