  I’ve been to Mimi’s many times and purchased a variety of sweets from here and have been beyond happy with the service and product everytime! Most recently she made a cake for me for my bestfriends 40th! Every detail was well thought out as far as transportation to most convenient pickup times to accommodate me to every beautiful detail on the cake. AND it was delicious! I also thought it it was priced fair as well. Happy to have this hometown bakery!

  Went there on a Saturday with family and got the raspberry fruit pastries it tasted like play dough stuffed with sour cottage cheese also got "mango" ones but it was so bad i cant even put it in words becausei had to spit it out, the chocolate cup with strawberries and Nutella strawberry's were old and just tasted expired, the red velvet cake was so poorly made my fork couldn't even go through it with how dry it was. Worst $60 spent on the worst pastries I've ever tasted. If I could put 0 stars I would've. Edit: This is not an attack just an honest review from a 19 year old girl who was very nice to the staff and I never said anything rude or condescending. I said hi I asked questions and I even found you to be very helpful and when I left I said have a good day. The food was genuinely just horrible and I'm very honest in every word I said. Food isn't refundable and I genuinely didn't want to waste the gas to drive 30 minutes back. Just the way you responded proves if I called or went in I would've been treated rudely. And of course influencers are going to rave about something they are paid to but when a girl who just wanted to enjoy a few pastries and writes a review its an attack. (And since they deleted their response heres what they replied)

  I went here today, literally as im writing this i still have the pastries i bought in my lap, and I was so disappointed with EVERYTHING. I got 4 fruit pastries, rasperry and mango, red velvet cake and a strawberry Nutella cup and it was $60. Kinda price not a big deal IF IT WAS GOOD. The pasteries taste like expired cottage cheese or something. I saw a bunch of posts on tiktok about coming here and was severely disappointed. Im not one to write bad reviews but im so upset 60 dollars were wasted because this stuff was so nasty!!! Also the staff was kinda passive aggressive and it was a tense atmosphere for not only me but who I was with. I dont recommend going here at all! Edit: Their response to this review was also very negative. The "staff" was sitting at a table eating, I assumed they were other customers. They made a comment about us being way too skinny and automatically assumed we were influencers. Which we aren't. We were just two sisters that wanted to go to a nice bakery. It was all nasty in our opinion. We didnt call for a refund because we weren't looking for our money back. We already wasted it what was the point? It was food, thats usually nonrefundable. How they responded is exactly my point. This place is rude and unprofessional in all aspects.

  🙌This is my new favorite place. 💯 As a business owner, I understand the importance of supporting our local shops.👏 I took my sister here to try it out. We fell in love with this place. Mimi is so sweet! I tried the popular blueberry🫐 fruit thing but my favorite was the crookie. Its a crissiant cookie🍪 that is stuffed with cookie dough and this is the best one ive ever had. Its huge and lasted me 2 days. I will be coming back specifically for that crookie. 😋. They make everything from scratch! They also make custom cakes🎂 and orders for events. Theres so much more I need to try still. If you have a sweet tooth, you will be in heaven here. They also have keto, sugar free and other diet specific foods. Im going to order a platter of goodies to take on a weekend away. Please go support this business so that they stay open forever! Crystal river doesn't exactly have many options for goodies. SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESSES. 🫶

  5/5 Stars – Hidden gem in Crystal River!"Such a wonderful little bakery tucked right behind the Walgreens off US-19! The shop is spotless, smells amazing the second you walk in, and has the sweetest owner and staff. Their Viral Fruit Pastries are absolutely gorgeous and so delicious! It's also hard to find a bakery that does amazing traditional sweets and incredible allergy-friendly options, but they nail it here. Everything from their specialty cake bars to their fresh treats has been phenomenal. A must-visit if you have a sweet tooth or need a custom cake!"
