Terrible location, zero customer service. Placed an order for pickup and let them know I arrived and I sat there for well over 20 minutes with no help or any kind of indication that it was coming at all. There was no other customers in the parking lot. I canceled and left

I hate leaving negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt it was warranted.
I stopped by Sonic because I've been craving a Sonic Blast for days. I'm currently pregnant with twins, so this wasn't just a random stop—I was really looking forward to it.
After ordering, I waited over 20 minutes. During that time, the manager came outside to apologize to the car in front of me for their wait and handed them their order. A worker then came to my car with food that wasn't even mine. I explained that I was waiting for a Sonic Blast, and she told me it would only be "another minute or two." Instead, they proceeded to serve the two cars behind me before finally bringing me my ice cream.
When I received it, I politely asked if the manager could give me a small discount since I had waited so long for a single ice cream. The employee came back with a coupon for a free drink. I thanked her but explained that I wasn't interested in a drink—I simply wanted a discount on the item I'd waited over 20 minutes for. She went back inside and returned saying they couldn't offer any discount. The manager never came out to speak with me personally.
At that point, I told them I didn't even want the ice cream anymore.
As someone who used to manage a Dairy Queen, I know that situations like this can be handled much better. If a customer has an unusually long wait, it's not difficult to offer a small courtesy discount—whether that's 10% off, an employee discount, or another reasonable accommodation. More importantly, a manager should be willing to speak with the customer instead of sending employees back and forth.
Customer service has declined so much over the years, and experiences like this only reinforce that feeling. Mistakes and delays happen, but it's how they're handled that makes the difference. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling like my time didn't matter, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

This is genuinely the worst Sonic I've ever been to. I've tried it about three different times over the last three years, because I'll occasionally think "I'll give them another chance".
I ordered a chili dog with mayo and received a dog that was cold and, no joke, had a giant glob of mayo just slapped in the middle of the dog on top of the chili. When I (very politely and even apologetically) asked the server if it could be remade and showed him the dog, he was very dismissive. Management then gave me the run around too. Over a chili dog. Ridiculous. That was several months ago. Last night the kids and I wanted ice cream so we stopped by. We ordered two blasts and a sundae. The blasts were literally smushy and barely cold from how long they had sat inside. Awful. Just do yourself a favor and drive to Niceville or DeFuniak if you want Sonic because this one is a nightmare.
Waited 5 minutes on a mobile order for everything to be melted and gross and the employee was rude and gave me and my girlfriend a dirty look, and now I'm trying to call them and they're just ignoring my calls and her's
