The food is good, but the rice to protein ratio is like 65/35. It's good, but you get more for your money from somewhere like Panda Express, unless you play it smart like I did and buy $50 in gift cards at Sam's Club for $37.50 and also sign up on their app to get your 2nd entree free at your next visit after spending at least $8 the first time. 🧠

Warning: This establishment violates critical FDA + HACCP food safety regulations and displays aggressive behavior toward customers. My experience at Pewee Coral Springs was dangerous, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. What happened was not a simple mistake—it was a chain of federal food safety violations, negligence, and physical aggression. 1. Re-serving food already delivered to another table (FDA Food Code violation) One of our four orders was delivered to the wrong table. Then, that same plate was picked up, placed on the counter, and prepared to be served to us. This is a direct violation of the FDA Food Code: FDA Food Code 2022 – 3-306.14 Returned Food and Re-Service of Food “Food that has been served to a consumer shall not be re-served.” If a plate leaves the kitchen and reaches another table, it must be discarded immediately. Attempting to serve it again is illegal, unsafe, and negligent. 2. HACCP Violations (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) The handling of the plate violates multiple HACCP principles: • Principle 1 – Hazard Analysis: Re-serving food exposes customers to cross-contamination and pathogens. • Principle 2 – Critical Control Points (CCP): Once food reaches a consumer, it cannot re-enter the service flow. • Principle 5 – Corrective Actions: The correct action is discarding the plate; Pewee attempted to reuse it. • Principle 6 – Verification: There is no supervision or food safety oversight. • Principle 7 – Record Keeping: The chaos and disorganization show no protocols or documentation. 3. Kitchen staff without face masks (hygiene violation) The cooks were working without face masks, violating: • FDA Food Code 2-401.11 – Hygienic Practices • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) • HACCP contamination control standards This increases the risk of respiratory contamination and shows a lack of basic hygiene training. 4. Aggressive behavior from the bearded server (physical force + disrespect) When I rejected the contaminated plate, I told the bearded server to leave it there and prepare a new one. His reaction was: • He grabbed and pulled the plate from my hands • He spoke to me in a sarcastic and aggressive tone: “Do you want me to leave it there so you can eat it and take the new one?” • He attempted to force the contaminated plate back to our table This is not just disrespect. It is physical aggression, coercion, and proof that he does not understand or respect food safety laws. 5. Additional serious errors The fourth order was also not delivered to our table. He admitted he “maybe took it to another table.” This confirms: • Total lack of order control • Constant risk of cross-contamination • No food safety protocols • Complete disorganization 6. Attempt to “fix” everything with two $10 gift cards After: • FDA violations • HACCP violations • Attempting to re-serve contaminated food • Cooks without masks • Physical aggression • Disrespect • Disorganization …the server thought two $10 gift cards were enough to “make things right.” This gesture was insulting, ridiculous, and completely disproportionate to the seriousness of the situation. Trying to compensate federal violations and physical aggression with $20 in gift cards is a joke. Conclusion: A public health risk Pewee Coral Springs does not just offer bad service. It presents a real health hazard, federal food safety violations, physical aggression, and a work culture that shows zero understanding of FDA, HACCP, or basic hygiene practices. An establishment that: • Re-serves food already delivered to other customers • Fails to discard contaminated plates • Has cooks without masks • Physically grabs customers • Admits delivering plates to wrong tables • Tries to fix everything with $20 in gift cards …is an establishment that should not be operating without immediate oversight. My experience was dangerous, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. We packed the food and took it with us to ensure it was discarded. We did not eat because we had no confidence it was safe.
