  We had a really great experience at this Häagen-Dazs location in North Miami. I’m a Google Local Guide with over 4 million views on my reviews, so I visit a lot of places across South Florida, and service like this definitely stands out. We actually drove down from Boca Raton because my son wanted a Häagen-Dazs ice cream cake for his birthday. What made it special was that the owner personally took the time to prepare the cake for him. That level of care really meant a lot to us. The cake was beautifully made and tasted amazing. Everything in the shop was clean and well organized, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It’s always nice to see a business owner who truly cares about the experience their customers have. My son loved the cake and the whole visit made his birthday even better. Definitely a place we would visit again.

  I came to pick up an ubereats order. There were two employees behind the counter. I stood behind a customer at the register and when she was done, the first employee never acknowledged me. She turned around and started making more drinks despite me waiting for several minutes just to ask for the to-go order. The two employees looked like they didn’t want to be bothered. They moved with no purpose despite a long line forming. As I’m standing at the register, the man ushers two other customers in front to pay, also ignoring me as I’m standing in front of him. I step to the side to let the ladies pay. Then he finally wags his hand at me and I tell him the order. He walks to the back and comes back with the bag to which he very sharply says “Here!” and holds out the bag and he’s walking past me again. When I get to the car I peek inside the stapled bag and there were no straws for the milkshakes. Also realized one of the drinks was missing drizzle that the customer asked for. Luckily I had extra straws to put in the bag. I hate to play the race card but why was I being as treated invisible? Or are they just that unprofessional? It made me feel embarrassed and awkward to be so blatantly ignored…
