  This restaurant was great. The waiters were very kind and helped us with recommendations. The passion fruit margarita was so good. Would recommend.

  I want to be clear: I am a Mexican food loyalist. So it genuinely pains me to write this. Let’s talk about the elote. THE ELOTE. I saw “whole elote” on the menu and my heart sang. What arrived were 3 sad little corn pieces dusted with what I think was crushed Cheetos. I ate it because I have no self control, but the moment I remembered what I paid for it, something died inside me. The carne asada tacos were… there. Physically present. Spiritually absent. Not bad, not good just existing on a plate, much like me after eating them. The asada burrito was…., the meat had the chewiness of a grudge you just kept working at it and it never fully resolved. I still love Mexican food. Mexican food and I are fine. This place, however, needs a moment of honest self-reflection.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  I revisited La Reyna location in Cooper City today. The first visit I thought it was a bit pricey for the place but the food was good. . Apparently they are changing menu. Smaller portions. That’s the understatement after today’s visit. The owner was the server & he was very nice, but the food was sub par. I ordered the Mahi tacos. I got 2 street size tacos alone on a plate with what appeared to be breaded frozen fish sticks. He never brought the rice and beans and I was charged $20. My friend ordered the shrimp tacos. She got 2 tiny street tacos only with 4 tiny shrimp. Neither of us had a beverage. No discount given for not receiving the sides. With tax, tip & a service charge for using a cc, we each spent $25 for 2 tiny tacos. A total of $50 for 4 tiny street tacos. That’s it! That’s unbelievable. We could have had a wonderful lunch at a nice restaurant for $50. I’m sorry but I will never go back.

  Great place! Super cute, great atmosphere, delicious food and drinks. I got a passion fruit margarita, was the best margarita I’ve ever had! The steak burrito was super good too! Owner was very friendly. Great experience
