  This place is a gem! The food was excellent, the place is small/clean, and the owners are exceptionally friendly. They even came to greet us at our table after sitting down! We will definitely be back!

  What a wonderful Italian business is Dona Sarah! 🇮🇹 The owners are so welcoming and clearly put their heart and soul into everything they do. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. You can truly taste the quality and authenticity in every bite! It’s always special to support a business that is owned and operated by the people who pour their passion into it. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Italian food and a welcoming experience. ❤️🍝

  My friend told me about Donna Sarah last week and said she had one of the best meals of her life there, a seafood pasta dish. Of course I immediately went online, looked at the website and Instagram, and while everything looked delicious, I’ll admit I was a little skeptical that it could be that good.. The restaurant itself is wonderfully unpretentious, red-and-white checkered tablecloths, a small specials menu written on chalkboards, very reasonable prices, and none of the fussiness you sometimes associate with an incredible dining experience. I really didn’t feel like getting dressed up last night, so it sounded perfect. Well… my friend was right. I literally had one of the best meals I’ve had in my life!!! We started with the Caprese-style appetizer with burrata, tomatoes, basil, balsamic and truffle oil, and it was phenomenal. I ordered the steak frites with black pepper sauce, which was absolutely incredible, real homemade fries are my weakness! My husband had the Scaloppina Valdostana special, a chicken dish layered with ham, topped with cheese, and a creamy mushroom Marsala sauce, which he loved. Everything tasted fresh, homemade and completely different from the typical restaurant meal. And then came dessert. The raspberry mille-feuille was honestly out of this world. Flaky pastry, cream, fresh raspberries. I’m still thinking about it. The restaurant is owned by a French family and has this wonderful French-Italian influence that comes through in the food. The wine list is fairly simple, and the red wine by the glass was served chilled, which I actually enjoyed, although it was a touch colder than I personally prefer. What really completed the experience was the hospitality. The chef came out to check on us multiple times, as did his lovely wife, and you could genuinely feel how much they care about the food and their guests. This is exactly the kind of place that proves you don’t need white tablecloths, an enormous menu or a fancy dining room to have an extraordinary meal. Donna Sarah has officially become my new favorite restaurant. I already cannot wait to go back. 🩷 Reservations recommended!
