Big up a Raphaëlle...

We had a very nice dinner here. While we live in Coconut Grove, it's been several years since we came here - for breakfast - and I don't know why we haven't come back but glad we did! We chose the mussels (a generous pot intended for main) as an appetizer for 2 of us to share and we shared the chicken fricassee which comes with risotto - also a generous pot and really delicious. Very flavorful and how cooked comfort feel. Professional and friendly service too. Highly recommended! We will be back.

One of the best French restaurants I’ve ever been to!
Le Bouchon du Grove perfectly captures the true spirit of a classic French bistro right on the main road in Coconut Grove. It’s a charming, rather small place, but it feels incredibly authentic.
We stopped by in the middle of the day without a reservation and were seated right away, but given how excellent the food is, I assume it gets packed at night—reservations are highly recommended!
The food here is on another level. Every single dish was a hit:
The Onion Pie (Special): Absolutely amazing.
Escargot: Perfectly executed and very good.
Duck Confit: Phenomenal and packed with flavor.
Beef Cheeks: Incredibly tender and melt-in-your-mouth flavorful.
Chicken Fricassee: Personally, this was a total blast. Easily one of my favorites.
If you are in the mood for genuine French cuisine, this is definitely the place to be. It’s easily on the top of my list now.
The only minor critique I have is regarding the temperature inside. They have the AC running, but because the beautiful French doors were kept wide open, it was quite hot inside. Eating a hot, hearty meal during a Florida summer without full blast AC can be a bit tough! I’d highly suggest management keep those doors closed during the peak summer heat so guests can fully enjoy the hot food in comfort. During the cooler months, though, that open-door setup would be absolutely perfect.
Overall, a spectacular meal. I strongly recommend it to anyone, especially those who appreciate true French cuisine!
