Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
The food was good, but the employees are rude and talk over customers, believe me i work at a restaurant I know when customers are talked over bye employees, and not to be rude but please go back to the old lobby design, no one wants to sit in prison chairs instead of booths.

I give it a 3 only because of Tay who works the drive thru window. She has been so nice and always makes sure we get our food is fresh. However, any other time that I come to this whataburger, I am told to pull forward (while being the only person in line) and I watch 5 cars get their food after I placed my order paid and had already been waiting. Hands down the slowest whataburger I have been to.

I went here on a week day for breakfast around 10:30am. Not a friendly Staff and very slow. It wasn't busy at all and they had plenty of workers so don't know. Food was decent I guess. It's not as good as it used to be.

They can’t seems to get anything right here it’s honestly comical. It would be different if it was every once in a while but every single time we come here they get it wrong. They need to make some changes. If you complain the manager gets an attitude. I’d almost rather drive to Pensacola to get my Whataburger cause at least out there they’ll get the order right. Also ordering curbside takes longer to get your food for some reason. Like ordering ahead of time my food should be ready by the time I get there. Nope have to wait 20 minutes in the car.

Road trip lunch win
Stopped by for lunch on our road trip and Whataburger delivered.
Highlights:
- Food: Got the bacon cheeseburger and it was loaded. Big, juicy patty, crispy bacon, fresh toppings, and that Texas toast bun makes it. Fries were hot and perfectly salted. Tastes way better than your average fast food burger.
- Service: Line moved fast and staff was friendly. Order was accurate and came out quick even though they were busy. They know how to handle the lunch rush.
- Atmosphere: Clean, classic Whataburger look with the orange and white. Plenty of seating and clean restrooms. Perfect for a quick break from the car.
- Convenience: Easy highway access and fast drive-thru if you’re in a hurry.
Road trip rule: if you see a Whataburger, you stop. Consistent, filling, and hits the spot after hours of driving. Already craving it again.
