I'm visiting this side of Florida, and my son is Colombian, so he was craving some authentic Colombian food. We ordered from this restaurant and got the traditional Bandeja Paisa, but unfortunately almost every component lacked flavor. The chicharrón was by far the worst part. The fat was undercooked, and I've had my fair share of chicharrón over the years. It also had a stale, old-oil taste, almost like it had been refried multiple times throughout the day. Someone really needs to take a look at their fryer oil. The beans and rice were bland, and even the arepa and the empanadas were lacking seasoning and flavor. Spending $82 through Uber Eats on this meal was a complete waste. After eating what we could, we still ended up buying food somewhere else because we were left disappointed and still hungry. This was a horrible experience, and I won't be ordering from this restaurant again. I honestly don't understand how this food gets such positive reviews.
