Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

They are always smiling and making sure everyone is getting their orders and helping them with anything they can. I'm pretty sure if I asked for a oil change they would do it. I dont want chic - fil - a service I want Whataburger service! Food is always out fast and fresh!

- BBBeccaMay 11, 20263.0We went there for breakfast on Mother’s Day keep in mind drive thru and lobby weren’t busy at all but somehow our food came out before an iced coffee and a hot coffee. The manager asked the female employee to go make our coffees 10 minutes go by the manager goes and asks about them turns out they had been just sitting on their drink counter already made but the lady never brought them to the front counter. When we got the drinks you could tell the iced coffee had been sitting there considering there was just barely any ice and how watery it looked. I had ordered a caramel iced coffee but there was no caramel in mine whatsoever and I had ordered a large but received a medium but because of it taking so long for the coffees we had to go to work or we would have been later than we already were. As the lady brought out the drinks all she was doing was saying my bad while laughing as if it was some kind of joke to her.

And as we're eating, the manager came around and asked us how we were doing and if we needed anything. Very nice place to stop in for a meal.
- NRNicholas RoseApr 24, 20265.0We stopped in for a quick lunch with our son yesterday and the cashier (I don’t remember his name but he’s a young man that was working the lobby yesterday) was very kind and polite. He was attentive to our needs and actually looked like he likes his job! Which is uncommon these days especially in the fast food industry. I truly hope that you guys understand how valuable of an employee this young man is, and keep him around as long as you can! We appreciated him not making it a stressful stop like some other places around town! We will be back just because of him! My son was so thrilled that he complimented his Batman crocs and that he asked how my sons day way going, so my son (10yrs old) is going to leave him a review as well because he was also impressed! lol.
