  Another fantastic meal at Portillo's. I had the Italian beef and Italian sausage combo, and it was excellent. Honestly, I couldn’t tell the difference between this Tampa location and the Portillo’s locations I’ve visited in Chicago. The food was great, the service was great, and the whole experience easily earns five stars.

  This is a Portillo's. Of course it's good. The atmosphere is always cool, people are always friendly and food is always consistently good. Only complain in this location and I am not sure it's even their fault is that both the last time and today (Saturday 05/16/26) the AC is not working properly. First time it was full on broken and this time it's very warm in here. Otherwise everything is always good with really nice people and great food.

  Portillos is the best place for sausage and beef sandwiches. The hotdogs are just as good. Fries are always hot, and not too salty. If you haven’t tried it, you're missing out on some great food.

  Food kiosks are easy to use, they have a variety of souvenirs, as well as a grab and go section next to the kiosks to order. Food was prepared and served quickly. While enjoying out meal, a staff member checked in and offered to take care of our tray for us and anything we were done with. A.C. was spot on to enjoy while being in the Florida heat. Bathrooms were clean, and stocked well.

  I really like Portillo's so I will do my best to make this a constructive review. My most recent visit to Portillo's was the first in at least a year. We noticed they now have self-serve kiosks for ordering. DW ordered a regular sized Italian beef sandwich with the optional peppers. CG had two Chicago dogs. There weren't any orders ahead of us and the crew did not appear to be very busy. The order took about 10 minutes to come out. Unfortunately there were some mistakes and disappointments. - The fries were lukewarm and soggy, like they had been sitting for a while. - The Italian beef sandwich was really small, like the size of a hot dog. - The peppers were left out of the order. - The salad did not have any dressing. This left us with enough disappointment that made it worth leaving a review. It's also why we probably won't be returning for a while. We like the type of food offered here but the quality and consistency was off. Hopefully Portillo's of Brandon can tighten up their game.
