I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience honestly rubbed me the wrong way. I ordered a large double shaken espresso with light ice from Dunkin', and while the drink itself was technically correct, the cup was only filled about 75% of the way. For a large drink, that’s pretty frustrating. When I got to the window, I asked the woman there who I recognized as the manager from a previous visit if she could just top it off with milk. It wasn’t a complicated request. Instead, she told me, “our machine premakes the drinks that way.” Okay… but that doesn’t really address the issue. I even clarified and said I understood, but I’d like someone to just fill the empty space with milk. She flat out refused and said, “at this store everything is geared towards corporate standards.” That response felt dismissive and honestly kind of ridiculous. You’d think customer satisfaction would matter more than blindly sticking to a machine’s output. It would have taken two seconds to fix. What made it worse is I’ve seen how she treats employees. On a previous visit, a super sweet worker offered me whipped cream after I ordered, and I said yes. Right after, I overheard this same manager scolding that employee about how whipped cream “costs extra.” The tone was harsh and unnecessary, especially over something so minor. It gave off a very uncomfortable vibe. Overall, this manager comes across like she’s on a power trip, and it shows in both how she treats customers and her staff. The employees seem nice, but the environment she creates definitely brings the whole place down. Not a great experience.
