We had the fried fish, salmon, and tacos sampler. Food was great but the tacos were a bit less flavoured and very dry with tortillas that were probably made first and left for a while before served. In general, it's a good restaurant with good food and excellent service.

I went to this place hadn’t been in about a year, This use to be my spot to go. Tonight I was there and while looking at the menu to pick my meal, there was a white maggot dropped on to my arm. I was immediately disgusted. After that the waiter told the manager we moved tables cause not sure where it came from.
I initially stopped going here because of a waitress I had just treated me poorly, the entire experience was bad we didn’t even get to the end of our meal. I watched how she treated others around us. Then every time she came to my table her face was looking at me in disgust idk what we did. The manager ended up comping my meal (we didn’t even finish it) but we hadn’t been back since because of that experience.
Then tonight after that we most definitely won’t be back. But I do want to say this isn’t to bash them this was just MY experience. Customer service was really good with everyone I encountered tonight 7/22/26

Azteca D"Oro made our birthday luncheon for a party of five so awesome. Our table was ready when we arrived and Kevin was our waiter. Kevin made sure we had everything we needed. The meals were delicious and plentiful. The staff sang Happy Birthday, supplied a fabulous sumburro for the birthday girl and a scuptious desert
We decided to try Azteca D’Oro Mexican Restaurant while in Florida because we love Mexican food and are always excited to try new spots. The atmosphere was definitely lively, especially with the World Cup going on. It was pretty busy, so there was a lot of energy in the restaurant.
The service was okay considering how crowded they were, but unfortunately the food just wasn’t quite what we’re used to. I ordered the shrimp tacos, but I’m personally not a fan of corn tortillas, so I ended up eating them more like a taco salad — which honestly wasn’t a big deal for me. My husband ordered the shrimp and steak fajita burrito and said it was okay. My daughter had the chicken Macho Burrito, but she didn’t really care for it. I think she was hoping for shredded chicken instead. My niece ordered the cheese quesadilla, but it was dry and only warm, almost like it had been sitting for a little while before it came out.
Overall, it wasn’t the best first experience for us, but the atmosphere was fun and we understand they were very busy. Maybe the next time we’re in Florida we’ll give them another try and have a better experience.
