As a Cuban, finding a restaurant that truly reminds me of home is something special, and this place definitely did that for me. The food brought back memories of family meals and the flavors I grew up with. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and homemade. The service is also excellent. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. You can tell they really care about the food and the experience they give their customers. I’m very happy I found this place, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended if you’re craving real Cuban food and a taste of home!

Don't be fooled by the small parking and the fact that they are located in a strip mall. This place is amazing and you don't want to miss out. The girls are so helpful explaining the food. I got the Vaca Frida and my husband got a cuban. Everything we have tried from here, from the empandadas to the chicken, to our meal recently, are all phenomenal. The stellar item on the menu is their Mango shake. I got one and my husband had to order his own because he was going to drink it all. Light and refreshing flavor. We can't wait to go back and take friends there to experience it.

WOW. This is a gem of a place. We have been there several times now and we will keep going back. The food is wonderfully fresh and flavorful. Prices are reasonable. Staff are so friendly and warm. The vaca frita (in the picture) is spectacular. SO much flavor. The Cuban is one of the best in town - I know, a bold statement. And you have to try the Mango shake. It's sort of like a refreshing milkshake, but not as heavy. I'm not even a big mango fan, but the mild fruit and perfect sweetness of it make it my go-to every time.

So glad I stopped here on our way to the Florida Boat Show. The Ropa Vieja was outstanding. We enjoyed the music and atmosphere. The service was so friendly and sweet. Very clean and nice, it's hard to imagine such a nice restaurant could be in such a non-descript location. Highly recommended!

We found this place on a hunt to just get a good ''ham n cheese on cuban bread' pressed. On walking in we were greeted warmly as the owner was finishing speaking with folks already seated and were offered any seat. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw the hot food area with multiple delicious looking items, especially the oxtail. After picking our spot and reviewing the menu, we changed plan from the 'ham and cheese' and ordered a ropa vieja, media noche, cafe colada and cafe con leche - both with cinnamon dusting on top. (pictures on here, minus the cafe con leche) Food came out in a expected amount of time and it was delicious. **I'm not Cuban but have Cuban friends (am treated like familia) and have eaten at their houses and their parents' houses over a 4 decades here in FL. The food here is the same - delicious, familiar and comforting. ** Ropa vieja almost melts in your mouth. Black beans added to the rice gave another dish that could have been eaten on its own. I added a dash of salt to my meal, but then again I like things saltier than a normal person. Platanos gave a nice 'reset' in between mouthfuls. Media Noche was a crisp bite that ended with a satisfying 'mmm' as the flavors in between the pressed sweetbread took over. French fries were also crisp on the outside and soft inside. Both cafes were just right and I knew they were 'Cuban strong' - I had a 2nd colada after my meal...and had some toasted cuban bread to dunk in it. Now the cost for it all was very reasonable - just about the same for food for 2 at most other places but the food is 'miles above'. This is going to be our go-to spot now for 'dine in' Cuban food. I already know my next order is going to include the chicharones... And if we come out here on a Saturday night, we'll expect it to be louder than usual and more activity inside, because that is how a place should be on a karaoke night. Thank you Ay Que Rico! We'll be seeing you again soon.
