About

Fast Food RestaurantBurger JointAmerican RestaurantTake Out RestaurantCheckers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc
As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

Brother…. The chicken tenders were the best tendies I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of breaded tendies in my 28 years on Earth. Jesus himself must’ve blessed the oil these puppies were fried in because wow. All 34,528 of my taste buds were tearing up at the thought that they may never experience something so magical again. 10/10 would strangle a plush toy for these bad boys again

Every time I go to Checkers, I ask myself the same question: Why do I keep doing this to myself? The answer is simple: a $5 combo meal. Every now and then I convince myself that maybe this time will be different. It never is. This visit, I ordered the Sourdough Melt combo. The burger was pretty awful. The biggest crime was the "sourdough" bread. The photos online make it look like thick, buttery, golden-grilled sourdough. In reality, it seemed more like regular bread that had been dyed yellow and never introduced to the concept of sourdough. It was also tough and rubbery. I've also never understood Checkers' burger patties. They always seem bland and underseasoned, as if salt and pepper are optional upgrades, and while the fries are usually the one thing that keeps me coming back—crispy, salty, and genuinely good—they were cold on this visit. Cold fries are the culinary equivalent of stepping in a puddle while wearing socks. If you're looking for a cheap meal, Checkers still has that going for it. Just keep your expectations somewhere between "gas station snack" and "I should have gone somewhere else." Stick with a basic burger if you must. The fish sandwich is decent enough. I can't speak for the chicken because I've never been brave enough to try it. Rating: 2 out of 5 stars. I'm sure I'll be back someday, lured in once again by the promise of a cheap combo meal, only to leave wondering why I didn't spend the same money literally anywhere else.

The woman who works the drive thru window is the rudest woman I’ve seen in hospitality. I ordered food to pick up. Upon arriving at the time it said my order was ready, the woman opened the drive thru window and asked “What you want?” while chewing food with her mouth open and food coming out 😂 This is literally laughable. Upon telling her I was there to pick up my order, she did not respond, rolled her eyes and slammed the take out window. I then proceeded to wait 13 minutes before she came back with my order (3 burgers, 2 fries, mozzarella sticks, 2 sodas). I would have never waited that long especially with how rude she was, but I ordered it for pickup online, so I had already paid. Upon looking in the bag, the number of items added up, so it looked correct. When I got home, I realized that instead of making me the three combos I ordered at 14$ a piece, she rolled her eyes at me in the window, walked away and made three value menu cheeseburgers. No sauce for the mozzarella sticks we ordered. I guess this is what I should expect, which is pathetic. But there’s no way I’d want that woman representing my company. I’m even willing to take some blame because I didn’t specifically open the wrappers of the sandwiches and make sure they were correct, but I’ve also never done that in my life and I feel like I shouldn’t have to. Anyway, this place has become garbage. Don’t waste your money.
