  For and away the best lobster roll we’ve ever had. We added lettuce to the hot Connecticut and that just put over the top. The coleslaw was perfect and the fresh squeeze lemonade exquisite.

  $33-5 dollar roll plus tax, gratuity and not even fries. I ordered to go, ended up paying $40 total. The flavor was great however not coming back. There are lots of other places in the area that will serve good quality lobster rolls, bigger, with fries, a pleace to eat, enjoy and a view of the beach or canals. I'm really sorry I had this bad experience because I'm local and would love to have one each week, however this does feel like a tourist tramp.

  While our lobster rolls were quite tasty, the execution at The Boca Lobster Roll Co. was lacking. First off, there was ONE employee working on a Friday night around 5pm (as people were exiting the beach). ONE employee to make the orders, greet and ring out customers, take web orders, etc. She was clearly frazzled and completely stressed out. A business like this should ALWAYS have at least 2 employees working at all times -- for safety and service reasons. Second, the storefront itself functions more like a gift shop that sells lobster rolls. The food prep area is hidden behind a wooden partition which doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the food preparation and cleanliness. They should remove that wall so you can see that this is actually a take-out restaurant with clean facilities and a cook who knows what he/she is doing. Think 5 Guys or Jersey Mike's as 2 examples of how this store should really function. For us, this was a "one and done" trip to Boca Lobster Roll. Our search for the best local lobster roll experience continues!
