  Adrianna was so welcoming and accommodating from the second we stepped inside. The group before us was running a bit behind (which is very normal!) and she made sure we had drinks and offered us Sake while we waited. Our sushi chefs were fun, talented and had great energy! We will absolutely be back and are going to look into hosting some private parties at this Sushi by Bou location because it’s so gorgeous!

  Sushi by Bou always finds creative ways to elevate their omakase, and I especially loved the tuna offering they’re doing right now! 🍣 The fish is always incredibly fresh, and you can tell how well the entire staff works together to create such a seamless experience. Add in the great music and excellent vibe, and it’s always a great time dining here. Definitely one of my favorite spots for a fun and elevated sushi experience!

  ⭐ Extremely Disappointing Birthday Experience We had an awful experience at Sushi by Bou last night — if you can even call it an “experience.” I booked a reservation for 11 people to celebrate my husband’s birthday, specifically because we were expecting an interactive and memorable omakase experience where we could watch talented sushi chefs work their magic. Unfortunately, what we got was the complete opposite. Several members of our party booked the BOU Reserve experience at $175 per person, which is supposed to be a 90-minute experience. We were seated late because the party before us ran over their time, which was obviously completely outside of our control. Yet instead of making up that lost time, they were quick to wrap up our seating and get us out. Our experience lasted exactly 60 minutes, not 90 minutes. That means we were shorted a full 30 minutes, or one-third of the experience we paid for. At $175 per person, that is simply unacceptable. If the restaurant was running behind because of the previous seating, our party should not have been the one to pay the price for it. Beyond that, the chefs looked completely bored and disengaged. There was none of the energy, enthusiasm, interaction, or showmanship we expected from an experience centered around sitting in front of the chefs and watching them work their magic. The female host was also less than accommodating and made us feel as though even simple requests were an inconvenience. For a restaurant that presents itself as an elevated sushi experience, we left feeling incredibly underwhelmed and overcharged. When you’re bringing a group of 11 people to celebrate a special occasion and spending this kind of money, you expect a certain level of hospitality, attention, and effort. What was supposed to be a fun and memorable birthday dinner ended up feeling rushed, flat, and disappointing. The fact that they were late seating us because of the party before us, but still ended our experience after exactly 60 minutes when we had paid for 90, was probably the most frustrating part of the entire evening. We were genuinely excited to celebrate here, but unfortunately, the experience did not come close to what was promised or what we paid for. For the price, especially the $175 BOU Reserve, we expected considerably more and would not choose Sushi by Bou again for a special occasion.

  Sushi by Bou was one of the most intimate, engaging, and genuinely fun dining experiences I’ve had in quite some time. I had the 17 course omakase with sake pairings, and the entire experience was excellent from beginning to end. The food was delicious, the fish was exceptionally fresh and high quality, and each course was thoughtfully prepared. The sake pairings complemented the progression of the omakase beautifully and added another layer to the experience. What impressed me just as much as the food was the balance between professionalism and personality. The chefs were charismatic, knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging. There was great conversation throughout the evening and a natural energy that made the experience feel personal rather than scripted. The maître d’, bartender, and entire team were equally welcoming and attentive. As someone who appreciates the details of hospitality, I especially noticed how effortlessly they made everyone feel included. I came in as a solo diner, and I never once felt like I was dining alone. I felt welcomed, included in the conversations, and genuinely part of the experience. Great hospitality is not only about great food or executing service correctly. It’s about how you make people feel, and this team understands that. I’ll definitely be back, and next time I’m bringing friends with me. Well done, Sushi by Bou.

  I honestly can’t say enough amazing things about Sushi by Bou in Boca. From the second we walked in until the moment we left, every single person made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. The entire experience was beyond anything we expected. Our chef was an absolute gem! She was so sweet, incredibly knowledgeable, and had us smiling and laughing the entire meal. She explained every course so thoughtfully and made the whole omakase experience feel so personal and interactive. You could truly feel the love and passion she has for what she does, and it made every bite that much more special. Anthony was also phenomenal! He was so kind, attentive, and made us feel like VIPs. He even surprised us with sake shots on the house, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made the night even more memorable. Every staff member we encountered was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and eager to make sure we had the best possible experience. The level of hospitality here is truly unmatched. My fiancé and I eat out all over Miami and Palm Beach, and we can confidently say this was some of the best service we’ve ever experienced. Not only was the food absolutely incredible, but the people are what made this place unforgettable. Safe to say we’ve found our new favorite omakase spot! Instead of driving all the way down south from now on, we’ll happily be coming back to Sushi by Bou. Thank you to the entire team for such a fun, memorable, and genuinely special evening; we already can’t wait to come back!
