If you’re posting this as a Google review, it’s usually more effective if it’s a bit shorter while still including the important details.
Here’s a version that fits well as a Google review:
I genuinely enjoy the espresso at the Nordstrom eBar in Aventura Mall, but the customer service and inconsistent operating practices have become very disappointing.
The posted hours are Monday–Saturday until 9:00 PM, yet on Saturday I stopped by around 8:32 PM specifically for an espresso, only to be told the espresso machine had already been turned off. When I asked why, the employee explained they routinely shut the machine down 30 minutes to an hour before closing.
If espresso isn’t available during the last hour of business, then the posted closing time is misleading. I intentionally parked near Nordstrom because I planned to grab a coffee before heading home. Most coffee shops continue serving their full menu until closing.
This also wasn’t my first unpleasant experience. On Friday, July 10, around 2:15 PM, I ordered an iced espresso and referred to the size as “venti.” Since the menu already uses Starbucks size names like Tall and Grande—and I’ve used “venti” here before without issue—I didn’t think twice about it. Instead of simply clarifying the size, the cashier responded, “Well, this isn’t Starbucks. Don’t use venti here.” I know it’s not Starbucks, but there was no need for the attitude.
Unfortunately, many of the employees at this location come across as unfriendly or annoyed, which makes customers feel unwelcome while still being prompted to leave a tip.
The espresso is excellent, which is why I keep coming back. I just wish the customer service matched the quality of the coffee. If your posted closing time is 9:00 PM, customers should reasonably expect to be able to order espresso until then.
