  unfortunately it was just not good. We got the yellowtail special and it was a thin piece of fish that tasted like it was weeks old. Smelled upon arrival. and the lima beans were hard. the apps were good and service was great. pretty much a normal alys restaurant. they know people will come even if they serve C- food. This place is a 4.5 now b/c they have friends and employees reviewing but will end up being in the 3.5-3.7 range

  Beautiful space and excellent hospitality, but the food concept wasn't quite for me. I had been looking forward to visiting Indaco after seeing so much positive attention around it. The space is beautifully designed, and the service was genuinely excellent - our server was warm, attentive, and professional. As a vegetarian, I found the menu surprisingly limited beyond pizza and pasta. The food also leans much more avant-garde than traditional Italian, so guests looking for the simplicity and balance of classic Italian cuisine may want to review the menu beforehand. I was also surprised to learn from our server that there were no mocktails on the menu. She kindly offered to ask the bartender if he could create something for me, and he made a custom non-alcoholic drink, which I really appreciated. The focaccia presentation was a little puzzling - one large, uncut piece served with a spread. If the spread is meant to be applied to the bread, serving it sliced would make the presentation much more practical; if it's meant to be torn and dipped, a dipping-style accompaniment would make more sense. Unfortunately, I had to return the ravioli because the entire dish was overwhelmingly salty and acidic. The restaurant handled it very professionally and graciously removed it from the bill. Overall, Indaco has a polished atmosphere and wonderful hospitality. For me, however, the narrow selection and very modern interpretation of Italian food made the dining experience less enjoyable than expected, and I left hungry.

  The atmosphere is cool and upscale but that is where it stops. The food was just mid tier and i am being kind by saying it was mid. Ordered a pizza and what was delivered was wrong, asked for no onions. The 2nd pizza came and it was wrong again. They did take it off the bill and that happened because server asked about the 2nd one or we would have not said anything. The pasta was so overcooked and had little to no flavor. I can go on and on, spend your money somewhere else. The menu is overpriced and the food was not even average. I don’t write reviews, first one in 3 years. Enough said.

  We had an amazing experience at Indaco Alys Beach! Our server, Spencer H., was absolutely fantastic. We were a group speaking Spanish, and Spencer’s Spanish was excellent, which made us feel especially welcome and comfortable throughout the entire evening. His service was attentive, friendly, and professional, and he truly made our experience exceptional. The food was delicious, and the desserts were excellent as well. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back. A special thank you to Spencer for making our dinner such a memorable experience. He is a great asset to Indaco!

  Horrible experience !! This was our first time at Indaco for dinner for 3 people.First we thought our reservation was for 7:30, however upon arrival we were informed that it was for 7pm. Oddly we never received a call or text when we made the reservation like most restaurants in the area, nor a text when we were due to be there. So it was a mixup and they sat us at the bar which was fine. Then blond haired waitress came over and asked us for our drink order which we ordered 2 bottled waters and a lemonaid. We also ordered 3 Ceasar salads which we had to change to two because after seeing one go by they were soo large it was way too much to eat. The waitress did not make any suggestions and didn't seem to know the menu very well. We asked for iced tea, however she stated that they don't have iced tea only Gatorade, lemonade, sodas, water or alcohol drinks. She then delivered two drinks and forgot to bring my son's sparkling water and never came back. So after 20 minutes of just sitting there I noticed the couple next to us that were seated after us were already served drinks and appetizers by a different waiter, so I waved the manager passing by and told her our waitresses never came back and we would prefer a different person wait on us, someone more efficient, she said ok give me one min. So the manager lady goes over to the original waitress and another waitress about 15 ft away and has a five minute conversation with her and another lady while they keep looking over at us judt sitting there. So we have now been there over 1 hour with a missing water and no dinner ordered yet. The salads finally arrived and were not impressive at all. Just a large pile of plain Romain lettuce with a little Romano cheese and maybe a tablespoon of creamy dressing no croutons just some bread crumbs sprinkles on top. We are from New Orleans and we know good food and this was the worst Ceasar salad l have ever had!! I would have asked for more dressing just to put something on this plain pile of lettuce but our waitree was MIA. Finally the nice waiter waiting on the couple next to us, named Spencer came by and we asked him if he could please take our order and he said "sure". If not for him we could have sat there till closing without dinner. This place needs 20 more like Spencer. He's the best thing they have and probably should be the manager. He was kind, friendly and very efficient. We ordered 2 pizzas and a pasta dish. All were OK nothing great. My pizza was the Peach pizza with prosciutto, there was hardly any prosciutto just a few small quarter size pieces. Overall this was a really bad experience with unprofessional wait staff and management ( with the exception of Spencer) and the food was mediocre. We won't be back!
