- JTJai TubeJun 7, 20263.0I like this Acme because it’s small and the location is convenient however I’ve learned you have to be completely independent when you shop there because the employees are not helpful or kind. I had rewards points on the app for a free large bag of frozen shrimp but when the charge didn’t come off when I was scanning in self-checkout, I asked the guy supervising self-checkout to assist. He looked at the screen briefly and implied I didn’t have the points. Reluctantly, I go grab chicken instead while he removes the shrimp and I select another reward instead. Once I was ready to pay, my rewards selection is honored. I look at him and say, so you have to go through the whole process and then it honors your reward when you’re ready to pay. Now why do I, as the customer, have to train your associates on how YOUR app discounts work??? I was more upset that I could’ve gotten a large bag of shrimp for free! The associate just looked at me blankly.
