We placed a $300+ order and all went well until we got on our bank account and saw a separate charge for $30. Be aware even though the app said drive in pickup charges were free with orders over $30 we still got charged. We will not be using this service again.

- GJGinger JAug 13, 20261.0Teresa has a bad attitude In Safeway in Rehoboth Beach I'm very sad this used to be my favorite store employees were always nice but met Teresa today nasty no matters and no class. She asked me to move at checkout myself cause she wanted to sweep the floor so I moved and then she right there under feet at a another terminal and then I turn around and she there sweep under my feet said I'm not moving again she told me I didn't have to but keep sweep right there under my feet. Maybe Teresa should sweep when there is no in there so no one is her way. I have never seen the employee sweeping while it's busy. Then when I needed assistance she was just ingnore me. When asked for help she was very rude. I travel a far distance to come the Safeway in Rehoboth Beach because it was nice but I think I will think twice before coming back do to this store due to my experience today with Teresa very unprofessional and that makes me really sad. Makes me think I should have shopped in the Amce. She me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I know no really cares. I guess Rehoboth Beach Safeway is like Dover now.

However, I did notice that some frozen foods and bread were past their expiration dates. If you are someone who does not buy or eat expired food, be sure to check the expiration dates carefully before purchasing. Unfortunately, the customer service experience with a few employees, particularly at the customer service desk, was also very disappointing. I hope the store can focus on providing more consistent, friendly, and helpful customer service.
