UD Fresh to You is a student-run farm located on the Newark Farm of the University of Delaware College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. The farm consists of nearly three acres, including four high tunnels that help to extend the growing season.
The farm acts as a living laboratory for students and interns to learn, gain hands-on experience with sustainable farming practices, and become more connected to where their food comes from.
Fresh to You also operates a farm stand that is open to the community during the summer months. We also donate produce to the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, Food Banks of Delaware, and the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP).
Customers generally enjoyed the food, noting it was fresh and tasty, although there were some complaints about specific items being cold or not prepared correctly.
