I visited Main Event on the evening of July 1 at approximately 8:30 p.m., and my family's experience was extremely disappointing. After finishing our games, we waited several minutes in the redemption area with no employee available to help us redeem our tickets. During that time, one employee came into the area, made eye contact with us, and left without offering assistance. One of my daughters eventually had to go to the front desk to ask someone to come help us. When employees finally arrived, there were three of them, and there was noticeable whispering between them. The employee who helped us redeem our tickets displayed a dismissive attitude throughout the interaction. After we finished redeeming a majority of our tickets, my children were deciding how to use their remaining tickets on candy. At that point, one employee approached my son and instructed him to empty his pockets. My son complied immediately. He had nothing in his pockets. The employee simply responded, "You're good, man." I was very upset that my son was publicly treated as though he had stolen something, yet no apology was offered after it became clear he had done nothing wrong. I spoke with the employee afterward, and he told me he was not accusing my son of stealing but thought he had seen something in his pocket. Regardless of his intent, demanding that a child empty his pockets without first verifying the situation or offering an apology afterward was inappropriate and embarrassing. I then went to the front desk to speak with a manager. Before I had the opportunity, all three employees from the redemption area had already gone to the front to speak with the manager. When it was finally my turn to speak, the same employee who had instructed my son to empty his pockets interrupted me twice while I was attempting to speak to the manager. What disappointed me most was not simply the accusation. It was the lack of professionalism, the absence of an apology when my son was shown to have done nothing wrong, and the fact that I was repeatedly interrupted while trying to address the situation with management. I understand that businesses need to prevent theft. However, customers—especially children—deserve to be treated with respect. I hope Main Event uses this as an opportunity to improve how employees handle these situations and how customer concerns are addressed.

The bowling lane broke 10 minutes into the game we told them they said they were going to get it fixed we waiting for 30 minutes. Then, we went to ask again and the new worker got it fixed immediately. So, that makes me feel like they didn’t try to fix it when we asked the first worker to fix it. We also asked if we could get someone to take our order and then said they would send a waiter over, but they never even went. So, we just waited and waited. Some of the workers were very nice, but I still think some didn’t try

When with a whole wedding party to have a fun time before the wedding. We didnt have enough food for everyone, they didn't even give us enough lanes for HALF of our party, when they did give us another lane it broke for another 20 minutes, the 1-hour arcade cards only worked on half the machines (and gave no tickets of course), and you couldn't do the "gravity ropes" needed to be booked at least an hour in advance. It was a demoralizing time. I think I'll go to dave and busters instead.

This is a gambling hall for kids. They don't have any arcade games at all. No pinball. More than half the games were broken and we had to ask for game refunds multiple times. The titles that look arcade games are facsimiles of the real thing Injustice being a good example. This place is designed to suck your money up without giving you anything back. The food sucks and the bar staff isn't great. Go to Dave and Buster's. This place is a scam.

Nothing works(dip n dots, cotton candy machine, Photo Booth & more), staff doesn’t care. After waiting 30+ minutes for the cotton candy machine to work(they told me to wait) I was told the pending charge would reverse but it didn’t so this place actually stole from me. Gross
